Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet

The Hibachi Grill is a Chinese and Japanese buffet. It is large, too large in my pinion. The more selection a restaurant has, USUALLY, the quality of each item goes down. That is the case for Hibachi Grill. Nothing that I had was good, and I do mean nothing!
There’s no need to go into any great detail about any of the food, because it was all horrible. It was either too salty, too bland, or had a really strange taste.
We called early to request a private location. They told us that was not a problem, but 10 minutes after we sat down, they sat a large family directly adjacent to us in a wide open empty restaurant.
Other than that, the service was okay. The restaurant was very dingy. The whole thing look like you could use a pressure washing, & a scrub down with bleach. The bathroom was the worst. It reminded me of one of those gas station bathrooms that’s not actually attached to the gas station, and the attendant never actually goes there. It would be a good place for a haunted house, it would creep everyone out.

I was pleasantly suprised by the wide variety of foods available, there were so many different dishes I would have to visit the restaurant several times to taste everything. THe food was very fresh and the price was right.

Service is awesome every time we go there, food is really good except they need to add some seasoning to the crawfish and offer eggfoo young past lunch. Love the sushi never ate it on a regular basis until here since you can see them make it fresh. Wish they offered oyster on the hibachi grill.

Hibachi grill has a good variety of items and you can get items from salad bar if you want to «modify» your selections.
Good service, may get a bit stacked up during their very busy lunch-​time, but you never really wait for anything. It is never a problem!
They ALWAYS have a coupon in the local paper for 10% for two or 15% off for 4 people. It brings the lunch down to $ 8 with a drink!

This place has a huge selection!!! The food was very flavorful, hot and fresh. The service was great– our server kept the excess (used) dishes from stacking up at our table and he kept our drinks full.
The hibachi was superb! Only $ 10.95 for such a huge buffet AND hibachi AND sushi are included for that price. (I don’t think there’s a limit to how much you can eat– saw a guy eat 3 plates of hibachi shrimp.)

Great fresh food, reasonably priced, and friendly staff. I’ve recently moved back to California from Jackson TN and sometimes miss this place!

When we first tried these guys, I was less than impressed. I would like to say here, unless the establishment is the worst, I try not to post a review until I return again or at the very least, have a good bit of time to truly assess the place/​experience properly. I understand and appreciate the fact that Unilocal is a very serious tool and could really damage (more so than help) a business owner whom might of just had a one-​off or bad day. Remember Writers, what Spidey’s Uncle Ben told us «With great power comes great responsibility!» ‘Nuff preachin’ here’s what we thought…
For the most part, Mr J’s happy #1) if Juicy is happy + #2) is they have sushi and good Hot + Sour Soup. They do, and both were fresh and tasty! 2 Lunch Buffets + Water $ 16.
We recent returned, and much to my delight, I loved my lunch! Huge buffet, extremely varied selection. We got so full on the Sushi (many to choose), baked mussel (not the greatest but truly appreciate the attempt) and FRESH (not frozen) perfectly fried catfish, we never tried any other dish. Again, too many to choose from. Which is a very good thing and we plan to return (soon!)
As for the service, it’s a buffet, so we do not really care. I will say this though, at 75% occupancy, on the day of our visit, our dirty dishes always got taken away within 3 minutes of being set aside. The ladies were friendly (and appeared to work harder then the males… shocking hun?)
Me likes! One star has been deducted because they did not have «The Greatest Ice Cream in The World» (Black Walnut… a staple on most good oriental buffets). They did have those yummy coffee petit-​fours though.
The other great thing about this place is the location, lots of shopping, huge Dollar Tree and a Hancock Fabric too-​boot!

These people have a good selection of food, but their service ruins your experience here. We had a guy who brought our first three drinks and then refills, but then this girl came out and gave us our check and said «don’t worry about it. Take your time» and left. I didn’t think much of it even though I was only beginning my second plate of food. I’m not done with my plate yet, not even halfway through when she comes back and sees that I hadn’t put my card on the table and she rudely asks for it so and I handed it to her. She comes back with my card and my receipt and says the same thing «don’t worry about it. Take your time». I start to get upset and decide to hide the ticket with the poor tip I decided to leave under my wife’s cellphone– I’m not gonna tip anyone with a bad attitude who didn’t even serve us. I’m not done with my plate yet (the same second plate) when she comes back and almost going through our stuff on the table asked me again rudely for the ticket. I give it to her and she sees the poor tip I’m leaving and goes behind my back and under her breath calls me cheap boy! I’m not going back to that place. The food is good, but not enough for me to put up with rude waitresses who didn’t even bring us a cup of water! Nobody is gonna rush me through my meal, especially when there’s at least 30 other tables that are EMPTY!

I go for the sushi and hibachi first thing then browse the rest of the buffet later

I gave this restaurant a 5 because the variety of foods available are amazing. You have a seafood bar with fresh shrimp, crawfish, mussels and squid. The Chinese food Buffett had the normal offerings and it was all well cooked and seasoned. The Sushi bar has a wide variety of choices and it’s is fresh and rivals any sushi restaurant. The Hibachi Grill has a lot of choices and is well cooked and seasoned by the grill master. The dessert Buffett has everything from fresh fruit to ice cream. You will not go away hungry and the $ 9.99 per person is a great deal. Give it a try, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed

Great selection and food is very fresh, especially the sushi.
