Driving west across TN we stopped in Jackson for a quick breakfast and did a Unilocal search for donuts. BEST DONUTS I’ve had in Tn. The glazed were fresh, warm, and amazing. Red velvet was great. Stop here if you’re in Jackson.

I saw this place on the south bound road trip and despite just having breakfast, I felt obligated to take some donuts to go since I was just passing through. I hope you readers appreciate the pics, since the attendant stated that she thought I was a donut spy or «the competition.» Fortunately for southern hospitality and after how I explained that I’m a foodie, her look of suspicion seemed to decrease. She was kind enough to tell me that they make the donuts on the premises which is a big plus. In New Jersey, I notice most if not all donut chains (only one brand dominates) has started to have the donut making centralized meaning most stands have donuts delivered to them, so it doesent taste as good IMHO. Thus, whenever I see a donut store I have not tried or seen before, I take the effort to give it a try.
This place did not disappoint. The red velvet donut was moist, yummy, and I could taste the cream cheese in the cream cheese icing top. The bowtie was also good, soft in texture and just the right amount of glaze, a place worth coming back to.

Friendly folks. Tasty donuts… I like the apple fritters and the red velvet cake donuts. The coffee is much-​improved these days.

Okay, so I’m an apple fritter junkie and man is it hard to find a good one. My wife and I grew up in Jackson, have two kids and decided to grab donuts when we were home for the holidays. Years ago, Highland Park grocery had by far the best donuts and fritters on town. Highland Parks donuts supposedly went to Medina Market but if they did go there, the quality didn’t and they always run out and never have fritters — not good. This place is by far the best donut shop in Jackson. Amazing apple fritters and the most creative donut creations around. Everybody absolutely loved them and I am in now wrapping this review up to slip off into my sugar coma.

Good donuts. Great coffee… in fact, i’ll go back just for the coffee. Why break the bank at a crowded starbucks, when you can stretch out here, hop on the wifi, and be cool without all the lycra and faux riche.

Nice friendly people. We go there Sunday morning for coffee and donuts and get to see the same people who come there also. The coffee is fresh and tasty, and if a particular kind of donut is out, they go and make one for you. Wish they were closer to us as we drive 45 miles just to get their donuts. Thanks for having a great place.
