No one wants to hear my a/c freezing up story, so I’ll skip to the meaty parts. First, these folks have a super nice guy that answers the phone(every time I have called, I have gotten the same person). He was helpful when I called and quickly scheduled my appointment. I was surprised that they were able to come out the same day! Not only the same day, but in a matter of hours they were out there to just do two tuneups. The service tech they sent out was very nice and gave me a pretty fair assessment of the system. On my asking, they sent out a sales guy the next day to quote me on a new system. As most sales people should be, he was also very nice. They present a great folder with before and after photos. They also offer a lot of nice guarantees and services with a new install. I won’t get into the prices of the systems quoted, but anything A/C related costs quite a bit. This cost is where they lost two stars. One star was lost for having a much, much higher price for R22 than anyone else I contacted. The second star was lost for the way«coupons» are handled. They have some decent coupons on their website, but those have to be presented to the tech at the time of service, not when you call in to pay your bill(mine was double what I expected). I’ve run several different billing systems and none of them are really, ever final. Also, a tuneup is much less than I expected as it basically entails them checking a few of the key components and then hosing out the coils on the units outside. I can’t really knock a star off for that though because it seems that it is par for the course in the A/C world.
