My Aunt and Uncle are very involved in this group, and so I suppose I am somewhat biased… but I can only extol the virtues of adopting a rescue dog to you… for there are so many that need love, and most of which are well behaved, but as an added bonus to adopting a slightly older dog, you already know what their personality is going to be like when you bring them home! As a bonus for C2CR, they will literally line up a train of volunteers to transport a pup from place to place, each driving a few hours in their local area… and in this manner may drive a dog literally from coast to coast to get them to their forever home.
