Trying burrito kick out for the first time today… they were our vendor at work also for the first time. I am very pleased with the quality of the food and I got a lot for my money. The guys in the food truck today were very attentive and nice. My food was ready pretty quickly as well. I will definitely be looking forward to them coming back and now I need to go check out their restaurant! Thank you for feeding us love, Apria =)

I just made my fourth visit to Burrito Kick. I really wanted to like this place, but they’ve made it too difficult. The first thing anyone notices when going to Burrito Kick is how difficult it is to get into their parking lot during the lunch time rush. Traffic is bad in that area this time of day, and they’re only open during lunch hours. Once we made it inside and stared at the menu for a few minutes we figured out the process of ordering. You choose your meal, then you choose a protein. For beef taco’s and a drink it is $ 6.00 flat! For $ 4.00 more you can make it a «Big Kicks» which adds chips, queso and pico de gallo. I chose the tacos with ground beef big kicks. The pricing was nice since tax is already figured in for you. It’s convenient when things come out to an even dollar amount. I had just ordered 5 tacos a drink and a bag of chips with queso and pico de gallo. They bring the chips and dips pretty much right after you sit down. The chips were warm and served in a nicely presented paper sack with a clear cellophane window which read something about being made out of 100% recycled material I thought that was neat, the chips were warm and crunchy. The pico was good. The queso however, was runny. I don’t know if it’s a certain type of queso that they use that’s thinner than I’m used to, or if its watered down or diluted with something, but it was noticeable every time you dipped a chip in and came out with next to nothing on it. When the tacos finally came out the very first thing I noticed was when biting into them you could tell the shells had not been toasted. If they had been toasted, it must have been when they first opened. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and crisp. The ground beef was fresh tasting but was only room temperature, this was a HUGE disappointment. I finished my lackluster order of tacos and dips and left. The next two visits we’re pretty much the same with less than average food in a difficult location with good service. My fourth visit was 2 days ago and it was unsurprisingly underwhelming. Once again I ordered the 5 tacos a drink and a bag of chips with queso and pico. It had been a while since I’d been there, but the first thing I noticed was that they’ve started cutting costs. The cups are now a cheaper plastic cup without their logo on it, and it’s a pretty small cup. The chips that were once in a 100% recycle bag are now in what looks like a brown paper lunch sack. They keep these lunch sacks full of chips lined up on a shelf ready to go whenever a customer orders them. The problem with this is that the chips are cold and stale from sitting in a paper sack for too long, and the sacks show grease spots on them also. They could have at least thrown them in the microwave to heat them up for me. The queso was once again runny. I’m a big guy and queso is one of my top 10 snacks! But due the cold stale chips and runny queso, I did not finish this order. Nothing about it was appetizing. The pico de gallo was nice, but it’s pretty bad when pico is the highlight of a meal. When they finally brought my tacos out 20 minutes later, I immediately noticed once again that the shells were not warm or toasted, they felt cool to the touch. I bit into the taco to find a stale shell and chilled taco meat, I don’t mean room temperature, or barely warm, the meat was colder than room temperature. I can only assume this is the result of them preparing the tacos and letting them sit there too long with the juices from the cold tomatoes running down and chilling the meat. I’ve never had a taco served to me with cold meat inside. I finished my cold tacos having to refill my drink 3 times due to the small size of the cup and I left. For me this was the last chance for Burrito Kick to lock me in as a customer. I’ve given them 4 times to prove to me that they can make quality food, and each time I have been disappointed. I predict that by spring of 2016, Burrito Kick will no longer be around. The Final jab by Burrito Kick was that my $ 10 meal cleared my bank for $ 12.00! I’m going to take this as a lesson learned.

This was the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent anywhere. Service was horrible and the food was so bland. Even the«salsa» was just diced tomatoes in water it seemed like. I paid extra and they ended up giving my order to someone who came in 15 minutes after us. I want my money back. Don’t waste your time!

We loved Burrito Kick! After ordering, our dip came out quick and it was great. The salsa, queso, and guac were very flavorful and delicious. My main course was a steak salad. It tasted so fresh and had a number of great toppings. Overall, the food was fresh and fantastic! Great spot for lunch.

The staff is nice and welcoming, the food is great, and the restaurant is bright and fun. I like the counter top seating area. Would recommend the guacamole and chips as well as the espresso drinks.
