The Brass Shear is great. Scott is a super friendly guy and always very pleasant to chat with when I go in for a haircut. He really knows how to cut my hair to the style in which I wear it, and allows plenty of opportunity for me to provide feedback as he goes. The shop itself is neat as well, with a bunch of old-timey barbers’ chairs. There aren’t many places like this left around. Not to mention the price is great — about seven dollars cheaper than the salon/spa I had been gong to previously. It is located on the first floor of the Hilton hotel off of County Line Rd. If you come in from the side door facing Huntington’s Grille the Barber shop is right there on your right when you first walk in. If your a guy, you have to at least give the Brass Shear a chance, I’m sure you’ll soon be a regular.

Growing up I always got my hair cut by Edsel. He gave an efficient haircut and great Disney character impressions for only $ 4. The haircut always got the job done and at that price, was unbeatable. I’m not sure if Edsel is still there, but if he is, give him a go! The location is very convenient in the bottom of the Hilton on County Line, just off the interstate. It is a good haircut at an unbeatable cost. Check out my other hair salon reviews in Jackson too.
