Wasn’t expecting to find a full service large bookstore with coffee bar called Joe Muggs right acros the highway from my motel. Went here for the coffee but will return to read and study in the café. Nice big roomy store

I haven’t been to this bookstore since I was probably in my preteens. It felt so good to see that this store was still open and I was blown away by all the awesome trinkets that they had from Alice in Wonderland quotes to Comic books. I could have easily spent a few more hours in this store. I wish there was a Books-​A-​Million here in Houston. They have a great selection of books and a great space for children books. If you’re in the mood for a cup of coffee there’s a shop inside the bookstore for that as well.

Hani was a great help to us, we came from CA doing an event for a Not for Profit and Literacy fair. She set us up and hand rung almost 300 books.

We were offered a «free trial» of some magazines by BAM when we went to check out. Like suckers, we signed up. AVOID this. Despite calling the magazine service and cancelling with them, we are now seeing charges showing up on our debit account. I am assuming that BAM gets some kickback from this sleazy deal.
A customer lost, BAM. Very disappointed.
