Very good food. Not typical bar food. Excellent service. Located in an old house. I would go back many times.

Stopped here for lunch based on a recommendation from the cashier at Guhl’s. We were not disappointed. I had the chicken salad on croissant with onion strings, other people in the party had the fried haddock with sweet potatoe fries, the pan seared salmon salad and a hamburger. We ended the meal with salted Carmel cheesecake. The food was delicious. Our server Summer was friendly, attentive and accommodating. Great restaurant!

Wow! After being in the area for work me and my coworker came here for dinner and where taken aback by the quality of food, service and selection of craft brews. We where greeted by a lovely host and served by an even nicer waitress. Get the flight to try all the local flavors and the filet mignon is divine. Glad we came and will definitely be returning shortly.

Stopped on a Monday afternoon. Neat place quite different from the normal fair. Had the Archie Burger. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Waitress was cheerful and the price was right. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone and will return the next time I’m in Jackson.

This was a great surprise in a smaller town. Great atmosphere in a vintage building. Wait staff was super friendly and helpful. Owner was a super gal! The food was really excellent. I had the 7 oz. filet. The flavor was delicious and cooked to perfection I would stop again if I was in Jackson

Arch and Eddy’s is worth the side trip, very cute town and the burgers are ½ pound. You won’t go away hungry. With their beer sample board, 4 burgers it was still under 40.00! Go with their string onion rings.

The food in general was okay. Not amazing but okay. Prices were expensive considering the amount and quality. My major disappointment was something I considered a big issue. My husband ordered a burger and fries and I snagged a fry off his plate. It tasted like deep fried shrimp! My husband has a shrimp allergy so I immediately stopped him from eating the fries. He only ate half the burger that wasn’t touching the fries thankfully. I informed the staff, who told me that we weren’t the first to complain, and gave them the uneaten burger and fries. They only have 2 fryers so I guess food is placed in both with no care. My husband was feeling queasy so i asked for something bland. He wasn’t showing signs of a reaction. They brought some cottage cheese. He ended up vomiting. No manager or anyone else came to check on us or asked if he was okay. I was fuming by the time I asked for the check. No one asked if we wanted another food to replace it or if we wanted a portion taken off the bill, nothing. Allergies such as peanuts or shellfish are very common and the blatant disregard for food safety is why we will not return.

Very cozy. Pleasant staff. They have grown quite a bit since they first opened and the service is steadily good, food gets better and better. The food is often interesting, very good. It’s a typical small town stomping ground kind of place. A few basic beers, some IPA’s and a standard menu. The specials are different which is good, however sometimes feels like they are trying to hard to be inventive, some dishes should just be left alone. One of the owners comes out to deliver food, and check on tables. She is very nice and genuinely cares about building a better restaurant.

We were traveling, and always like to search for locally owned restaurants. This was one of the BEST we have found. It was in a home built in the 1800s, with great character. All the specials sounded so delicious, it was hard to choose just one. We shared the cheese fries, yummy! ! My homemade citrus salad dressing was awesome, all the dressings are homemade. Our service was fast, and we got back on the road in record time. We will definitely go back the next time we are traveling this way!

Food is delicious and probably the nicest quality dining experience in the area without having to drive too far. The pineapple icebox cake is the original recipe of the old Colonial restaurant. It is definitely worth saving room for!

This is probably my favorite restaurant in town! Finally, somewhere to get the kind of quality food that is pretty standard in larger cities, with a GREAT craft beer selection that is always rotating. Large portions, totally reasonable prices. All of the servers are really lovely people. Love the back section, where you can just go sit down at an empty table rather than waiting up front(though this is really busy in the evenings!) Their salads are top notch. Salmon salad, bbq chicken, wedge steak, all amazing. Not necessarily healthy but delicious haha. Great specials on unique dishes, too.

Why are the tables dirty when there are only 3 people at the bar and 2 or 3 people at booths? There was a ton of staff running around but no one could be bothered to pay much attention to the customers. Odd. Food was so so. Not bad but on the greasy side.

Great menu and great staff. Maria at the bar is friendly and personable and she took great care of me. I had the fried green tomato appetizer and it was perfect. The breading, the house made dipping sauce. Next up was the original archie burger but substituted with their house made veggie burger patty and a side of sweet potato fries. It was delicious but I couldnt finish it all. I saved room for the salted carmel cheesecake and a cup of coffee. I will be back!

A&E saved our family trip! Driving from Indiana to Virginia, suddenly we realized we were starving and we were surrounded by nothing but trees and corn silos. Thankfully we found this place on Unilocal, and had a wonderful lunch! I had a burger with a fried green tomato bacon and sriracha mayonnaise which was outstanding. Kids had well made burgers with plentiful hot fries. Also indulged in the decadent house made desserts(recommend the peanut butter pie!) They had a wonderful local craft beer collection. The service was fast, competent and very friendly. Overall a great experience, a diamond in the rough. Worth driving back through BFE to catch on the ride home.

Went for a motorcycle ride on a beautiful day, & made this our dinner destination. A Saturday night wait was about 20min, but we were able to seat ourselves on the outside back patio. Our Server was very prompt & efficient & so very nice. Had the Nachos, they were very big, sharing between two, there was still too much & I love my Nachos. We got it with pork, which was pretty tasty. If you get extra cheese, make sure to remind them to melt the 1st layer underneath. Then ordered a burger, which was so juicy & cooked to perfection, it was delicious & the fries were crispy & seasoned just right, not too salty. Boyfriend ordered the ribeye, which he finished every bite. He said it was really good & cooked right, but looked a little over-cooked to me. Cant wait to go back & try something else.

Delectable, delicious and hearty! The burgers were lean, juicy and huge; the fries, crispy and copious; the chicken salad croissant, buttery and savory and the Ruben, a divine pile of of tender lean corned beef and fluffy sour kraut. There was a nice selection of beers and a list of average wines. The atmosphere was rustic(we ate in the bar); highlighted by some lovely black and white photography. I would like to have been able to read details about the photo’s locations. Our waitress, Frankie, was delightful, very friendly and efficient. The only negative was the women’s bathroom. It had clearly not been cleaned since the day before; garbage overflowed the waste baskets. It was also evident that the divider walls and door had not seen Lysol in many a moon. We will definitely return.

Great atmosphere. Located in a cute white house in downtown Jackson. Theres a green room to eat in with great windows. The same people that opened Courtside in Gallipolis opened and manage this place. If you are in the area, this is definitely a place to try. The prices are very reasonable. For lunch, I had a lamb gyro, sweet potato fries and a greek salad for 9 $. Everything was delicious.
