Drove by this place by accident whilst looking for the water testing lab. Walked thru the door and was greeted by the proprietor. Friendly and personable, he gave me a mini tour. (I was the only person in the shop)

My friend and I had a great time sampling the spirits at Amador Distillery. Adam (the owner) has crafted some excellent spirits and is very knowledgable and friendly. I recommend stopping in!

It’s awesome that such great products come out of our own lovely county! Their gin is AMAZING! Like no other gin I have ever had! The tours are fun and very educational.

I second Orayo C.‘s review 100%. Amador Distillery is a real treat for those of us who love fine wines and spririts. I especially love rye and bourbon and theirs are superb. Tour and tasting on Friday afternoons is $ 10 and worth every penny! Off Hwy 49 just at the south end of Jackson in a safe business area. They can’t legally sell their product at the distillery, but Cost Less market right there on 49 carries it (and so do many restaurants, bars, and retailers throughout California). Don’t miss it!

This place is awesome…5 different types of booze and counting! Adam is passionate and it shows through his spirits. A full blown distillery in the middle of no where? With a dude like Adam running the show! They are bound to succeed. We went here and tasted some really unique and out of the box stuff. This is the spirits movement happening right in Jackson. If your headed to South Lake Tahoe, Kirkwood, Jackson, or the casino near by make sure to stop by and try his awesome line!
