This is a fun summer activity in Jackson. The view is awesome and the staff is really friendly. Chairlift rides are always fun too.

My family arrived at noon to ride the slide and we were told due to construction on the mt it is down for 30 minutes. We returned an hour later and were told it will be another hour. So off we went to do other things. We returned at 6:52p to be told we stop selling tix at 6:50 sorry no exceptions. There was some consolation when a group came down and said it was not worth it and the response from the employee taking tickets was«it’s a total ripoff»

The price was incredibly high probably because we had to pay 6 staff to read books on the job. The ride up was lovely. The slide down was super fun! Being a first time rider was tough because the guys at the top offered no clue as to where to go and what to do once off the lift. The guy at the top of the slide put his book down and watched me hold my child and struggle to get the toboggan on the slide. I held the toboggan for my teen getting on, but staff wouldn’t help me. Thankfully not going back to Snow King and will probably skip this when we’re in Jackson next.

FUN! BRACEYOURSELFFORSOME ‘CANWEGOAGAIN?’ CHANTS No matter what your age, you will have fun here. Just be prepared for the HUGE temptation of shelling out more dollars for more rides. EASYPROCESSALLINCLUDED For about $ 15/person(with discounts the more rides you purchase) that also includes the chair lift ride to the top. The process buying the tickets was fairly simple although some of the staff look like completely bored teens being forced into labor. The line to get onto the Lift was fairly long – even with only 20 people ahead it still took almost 20 minutes until our turn. At the top the employee’s instructions on making the cart faster/ensuring safety was easy to understand. Great for little kids. THEVIEWANDTHERIDE Being from Flat Florida and even coming from so many awesome views at nearby Yellowstone – the chair ride to the top was still breathtaking. Glances behind you provide great views of Jackson as well as the valley beyond. Of course it’s also cool seeing the ground drop away from your feet with only a lap bar as your safety. We sat frozen though because the chair lift swayed with the gentle wind and strange creaking sounds made it sound like our cart would fall away any second. Although I understand the limitations, the ‘advanced’ slide(that doesn’t mean you have to be experienced) could’ve easily become more ‘thrilling’ with the addition of sharper descents and a few uphill ascents. Oh well– it was definitely a fun ride either way especially with feeling the wind on your face and seeing the bushes whip by you. Awww the ride ended too early(again I understand the limitations haha) making you want to go again and again.

I took my stepchildren and wife to go down the alpine sled. The sled itself was decently fun, but my bad review is because of the rude staff guy. He would not let me take a picture of my stepson on the bridge because I had not paid for golfing. This is ridiculous considering I had just bought 5 tickets to go down. Instead I had to stand 20 feet lower to film him coming in.

We loved the slide. You can go as fast or as slow as you want which makes it tons of fun for all ages. The ski lift is older & my 7yr old was sure he was going to fall out but we enjoyed the view on the way up. Something fun to do on the mountain during the summer.

Pricey but it’s a lot of fun. Great view and a fun ride. They offer a local discount. Find a friend or relative who lives in the Jackson area and get them to buy you tickets. 50% discount!

My kids loved the Alpine Slide. I have two boys(8 and 11) and both of them were ready to go again after their first time. My husband and I also enjoyed the ride. We really could have spent more time, but didn’t want to drop the cash($ 15.00 a ride), so we settled with one ride. The attendant who sold us our tickets was very pleasant and informative. She helped us get the best deal, as we were a large party. This is a great activity for families.

A bit costly but a lot of fun for the kiddos! It’s like a bobsled ride but without the snow. You take the ski lift up and zoom down on a go cart like sled. You control the speed and you can even race because there are two lanes right next to each other. We did the mini golf as well and the ski lift down the street where there’s a nature trail at the top. It was worth it too… 360 degree views. Awesome!

Tried to go here while on a layover in Jackson Hole. Advertised open hours for this time of year said they open at 10am. Got there at 10:10am to find out the track was still closed because it was damp & they were still leaf blowing off the track. Excuse me, but why can’t you do that at 9am so the track can be open at the scheduled time? Ticket window girl was rude, texting on her phone for a full 5 minutes while we stood there waiting on her. She said it would be at least another half hour before it opened. As we were on a tight time schedule we were not able to wait so they lost our $ 15 each.

This was really fun for both our 6-year-old and 4-year-old, who both rode with us. It’s pricey(total cost for one ride was $ 24, and that was after 4pm with Snow King discount), but was worth it. Staff appeared a bit brain dead, not terribly helpful with where to go, etc, but the views from the top and the fun ride down are what we remember. Kids were begging to go again, which gave into. Yike$!
