I did my original review from my mobile phone, so its high time I complete it. Jackson has a lot of Chicago transplants, due to the great black migration, I’m here because of college, I just never went back. However, there are a few staples that are served up in chicago and not too many places do it the chi-town way. You have you Italian Beef with hot or mild giardiniera peppers. Maxwell Street Polish Sausage with sauteed peppers and onions, Tyro w/thin sliced lamb loaded down with tziki sauce, pizza puff with mild sauce, pork chop sabdwhich loaded with fries, real meatball subs and not that subway crap! Italian beef with an italian sausage underneath! The list is endless, but those are the main things you gotta try from a chicago style mom and pop. Been in Jackson 15+ years and we had a few start ups open, but they would never last. Until 4Real Grill opened in metrocenter. They have been around 5 years now and they make all the aforementioned items I listed previously. They do a good job and the owner is friendly to repeat customers. I told him he needs to open a location outside the mall, but he said he’s looking for the right location. That’s the draw back, their in the mall! So that means no drive thru and your dealing with mall hours and mall crowds, so Friday and Saturdays are really hectic. The metrocenter is an urban mall and to some its a drawback, but if you want good food — it shouldn’t even matter where its located because all are welcome. I hope you check’em out and tell me how you like’em
