I studied Martial Arts here for over a year and was trained by the powerful Master«Fuego» Katz. I was taught a creed and basic dicipline and most of my actual martial arts skills came from after class practice with other students on the padding and dummies. The lessons themselves were very informative and I did have fun practicing after hours as long as they allowed me to legally stay. The dojo was very clean and new when I attended which made me feel comfortable compared to other schools that are dirty as hell. Do not expect a miracle school here on Roosevelt Ave but it is better than nothing. It took me longer to progress through the ranks and colors here than other places I have studied martial arts at. 3 months per line on your belt was a bit much for me when after 3 months at another school I would almost be at the third belt. This place was pretty overpriced for the area and at the time I was attending($ 140 a month). I enjoyed my time and sessions here until I pursued a more basic form of Martial Arts, Shotokhan.
