This was a very nice place to visit before we headed out of St George and on to Las Vegas. I really enjoyed the«feel» of this community. Everyone was very pleasant, the galleries and the outside areas(especially the views) were all beautiful. We made a quick stop at the café for drinks too, and it was great! It was a very peaceful and refreshing walk around the area and even though it is a little bit out of the way, I would definitely come back to visit again.

Several shops not open at 11am. Use caution when shopping as some galleries have art from non-local artists and some commercially made which I was not expecting. Almost accidentally purchased art from an artist in Georgia while looking for local art. The working pottery studio, Zia, is delightful and all sells only that which is created in the studio. — 5 stars for them, 3 for the overall experience.

Very cute Art Village in the middle of the desert. This is a gorgeous place to visit and take a stroll around. Located just outside Ivins Town center. Many people bike here but there is easy and plentiful parking nearby as well. This area is a planned community, the houses are all«eco» focused and blend into the surroundings very well. They also take full advantage of the surroundings with marvelous views. This easily walkable area has about 10 arts and crafts stores as well as a café. The stores include some«solo artists», and others are«group stores». You will find many southwest based things here, lots of pottery, lots of cool garden sculptures and the like. There is a terrific photographer in the area who has a store. In many stores you will find the artists themselves, occasionally actually making things. This is a great place to spend a morning.
