Sun Source Tanning

I’ve been a long time customer due to being conveniently close to home but the basic beds are easily 20 years old even though they change the bulbs. There’s one Orbit bed that’s newer but too expensive. The basic beds still get the job done (could be better if updated with face tanners), but the entire place overall is very outdated. They do seem to keep the rooms clean and the staff is always friendly. Lots of potential to be great but it’s just okay.

This place has to be the worst tanning salon in Illinois, no joke! Their beds are so old and don’t give any color at all. The beds are probably from the early 90’s. The prices are shocking considering the type of beds. No way worth the money at all. If they got new beds this place could have the potential to be something but with those beds, it is no wonder why they are hurting and begging for customers on social media.

This place is located in a strip mall right off of Rohwling road. Actually found it by accident when I was going to my dog groomers next door.
The staff is very friendly and willing to answer any type of questions you may have. The pricing is very reasonable and I was happy to see that they had the 20 minutes beds because my type of tanning is relaxing not rushing under 10 minutes and feeling like a lobster. My favorite bed in there is the orbit. You can tell that they keep up with their equipment and they maintain them as well. I have been to newer tanning salons in the area and nothing is worse than going to them and finding beds that are non functional. Every time I have come here all of their beds are working the bulbs are newer.
They have a lot of options there as well, spray tanning is available and with my busy schedule I like the late hours. They are located on Lake Street right off of Rohwling road. I thought it was considered Addison but I guess it is Itasca.
