Dr. Astrid is the absolute best massage therapist I have ever been too. I have chronic lower back issues and by the end of my session, was pain free. My daughter also suffers from shoulder pain from years of playing the piano and carrying heavy backpacks and looks forward to seeing Dr. Astrid when she is home from school. The office is relaxing and welcoming and the overall experience fantastic!!!

Astrid is a very conscientious Chiropractor with only the patients best health and wellness in mind. She does not try to offer unnecessary extras nor prolong treatments that are not going to help. She is knowledgeable in homeopathic aids that can be done at home to help with pain and inflammation outside of treatment, helping you to be back to your active self again soon. Being a license massage therapist only makes the treatments even better. I highly recommend Astrid!

Dr Neumeier saw my daughter for injuries related to sports — back and shoulder. She not only helped my daughter to feel better but, got her back to playing with better mobility. She loves getting back massages from Dr Neumeier & looks forward to her appointments. I saw Dr Neumeier for pain associated with lifting weights improperly. She took the time to explain to me what I was doing wrong and why I was in pain as a result of it. She gave me some tips on how to lift properly to avoid injury. I love that she took the time to talk to me and my daughter so that we understood our injuries. We love that she offers massages in her office so that we can enjoy that service after our adjustments! The office is clean, relaxing and very nicely decorated. Thanks so much Dr Neumeier!

I made an appointment with Dr Neumeier at Active Choice Health & Wellness because I’d had a nagging pain in the middle of my back for a few days. The whole time I was there, it was a very relaxed atmosphere — much more so than I have generally experienced in doctor visits. I never got the sense that the doctor was rushing through anything, and she was happy to take the time to answer all of my questions. Dr Neumeier talked to me for a while about the pain I was having, felt my spine, and told me that the pain I was experiencing was muscular rather than joint-related, so adjusting that part of my back wouldn’t do any good. Instead, she massaged the muscles that were causing the problem for a while and sprayed on some bio-freeze. At the time, it only seemed to help somewhat — my back still hurt in the same spot, just not as much — but when I woke up the next morning it didn’t hurt at all, so I’m calling that a win! Dr Neumeier also found, during her examination, that I had some restrictions in my neck and the lower part of my spine, and she did do adjustments to fix those problems. I’m usually not a big fan of having my neck adjusted — sometimes it kind of hurts — but these adjustments seemed more gentle than other neck adjustments and I didn’t mind them a bit.
