The Goddard School

I love Goddard! They have such an amazingly high standard of excellence. The teachers are fantastic. Along with providing exceptional care and teaching I’ve noticed that they actually like spending time with the kids. They tell me about funny things my son said or did as if they truly enjoy being around the kids.
First thing that won me over: I called just to inquire and who answered the phone… Catherine, one of the owners. Wow. Who gave me a tour? Again, Catherine. When I called similar schools/​daycares I was immediately sent to a national calling center that had no idea where I was.
My son is in one of the preschool rooms and is thriving. I love the flexible hours I can drop off and pick up.
So why not 5 stars? I wish some of the snack options were healthier (sometimes cheese its, saltines, etc) and I wish it weren’t so darn expensive. But there’s nothing else I’d rather throw gobs of money at. So be it.

My daughter has been at the Goddard School since just before she was 1. She is now 5 in their Kindergarten program. Yes, they have turnover. However, they have a great staff and continue to hire better people. The turnover doesn’t seem to be downgrading the place, it’s actually getting better. I have always felt that, when I complained, my concerns were addressed — either the teacher’s tactic was defended, the issue was solved, or any issues came back to me. I should say, I’m probably not the easiest mom in the world and DO speak my mind regularly, so I’m hard to impress… they do really good work here. Yes, there is a teacher every once in a while that I don’t love, but I can guarantee any class that’s happened in, there was an aid or an assistant teacher that was amazing. Someone always has really made a connection with my daughter.
I have now enrolled my son in the infant class and intend to keep him there through Kindergarten.
If you can get in, do it. It’s worth the cost.

This school is the best! My four year old loves going to school! The facility is beautiful and has the most amazing teachers. Catherine the owner is fantastic and is passionate about providing the best experience for each and every child. I can not recommend this school enough. My daughter had some separation anxiety issues when we first started. the teachers were incredibly kind and thoughtful with their approach in helping my daughter feel comfortable. The curriculum is also fantastic as my daughter is fully ready for kindergarten in the fall.
