Dr. Thayer is not just a stellar surgeon, but he is one of the best communicators I’ve ever met in health care. Seven friends and I have all had surgery on our knees by Dr. Thayer with perfect outcomes. When making a diagnosis, he shows you how he makes his diagnosis, explains X-​rays in terms you can understand, and then includes you in the decision-​making for treatment, showing you the logical progression of treatment possibilities. He’s also personable and always smiling. What a great physician!
