The prices of their products have allowed us to provide a quality pet first aid kit to animal rescues to raise money. Their service has been outstanding. I thought I had lucked out when I found a local company to deliver some much-needed medical supplies after a recent surgery. On the surface, I liked them because: 1) They had a great selection 2) Their prices seemed fair I selected two items(both rather small, about $ 20 a piece) on their website and placed them in my cart. That is where the first surprise began. Regular ground shipping was calculated at over $ 20 for both items. This is where the first surprise came in to play: Surprise #1: Quick Medical charges SEPARATE shipping and handling fees for items originating from different locations. Therefore, I was charged $ 10 shipping each because each $ 20 item would be coming from a different location. I received item #1 relatively quickly, and I was charged for my entire order at around the same time. However, this led to the next surprise: Surprise #2: They charge you for your entire order when you place it, rather than when it was shipped. After sitting on item #1 for a little while, I inquired with customer service as to when to expect item #2. I mean, I paid for it, so it couldn’t be far behind. It took multiple days for them to get back to me, in which they informed me it was backordered at the factory. Therefore, it would take over two months to be received. Surprise #3: Their website mentions that items might be shipped directly from the factory. However, they don’t mention backorders or delays. In a nutshell, I wouldn’t order from them again because of: 1) Exorbitant shipping fees 2) Charging for items MONTHS before they shipped 3) Inadequate notification of backorders prior to ordering 4) Poor email customer service
