Narra Dermatology and Aesthetics

The care here was exceptional. Really felt heard and like all of my questions were important. Clear explanations, and never dismissive. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of, even calling the next day to check in and chat.

I have been here twice and each time has been a very pleasant experience. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dr. Narra, Becky and Jennifer. All three ladies are super nice and very accommodating. Dr. Narra takes her time with her patients and explains thing clearly. Becky rocks on the cosmetic side of things. Jennifer is a bright, happy face to see upon arrival. I highly recommend this practice and I will be back soon!

Dr. Narra and her team are always awesome. I appreciate their professionalism and concern for my health. I have recommended her to several friends and will continue to do so.

Had my consultation with Dr. Narra for laser and she was really great. Went thru everything with me, listened to my concerns, and explained the procedure. I felt really informed. I read the reviews here before I came and she was much more warm and funny than I had expected. She is also straight forward and direct when we talked about serious issues — but that’s what I need so I appreciate that.

Dr Narra has great bedside manner and great customer service. She was recommended to me by another physician. I am always pleased after being seen by her whether it’s for myself or my kids. We have consulted with her on several different skin issues always with great results. Her staff and esthetician are very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Narra is the best! I have had adult acne for years! She put me on some medication that WORKS! Could not be happier!

I went in with a rash about a year ago. The doctor told me i had scabies. I did NOT follow up with any of the treatment she prescribed and in tw days everything was gone. Never had any problems again. Not with my skin. Their billing department however keeps giving me grief for about a year now. First it was the fact that they could not properly bill my insurance company. the emais and phone calls went on and on for about two months until they finally figured it out.
This time around (a year and a half after my visit!!!) they are emailing me with another bill! how awesome is that?! A doctor’s office that keeps on reminding of how horrible they are

I needed a suspicious mole checked, and out of all the area dermatologists I called this was the only clinic that could take me promptly. The receptionist and assistants were nice in a syrupy and saccharine way, reminding me of commissioned sales people. I prefer simple professionalism. Dr. Narra did a competent job but didn’t tell me anything such as what to watch out for, etc. There was no medical history taken, so the clinic didn’t know that I had had a few serious sunburns as a child – basic, critical intake information, in my opinion. I got the impression the clinic is more of an aesthetic dermatology clinic – Botox, etc – than serious medical clinic. Finally, Dr. Narra billed me for the difference between my insurer’s negotiated rate and her rates, which none of my other providers do. This clinic is mostly about moneymaking and little about practicing medicine.

After having a negative experience with a Mercer Island dermatologist, I was given a referral by a helpful pharmacist at Target who said that this office was easy for him to deal with as they were always professional and friendly. Sounded like a good reason to recommend them!
So I went there and was so happy! Not only did Dr. Narra discover a pre-​cancerous mole that the first dermatologist had said was «fine» she also listened to my concerns about my initial issue and prescribed a slightly different course of action that was SO much better for me! So I’d say that based on this experience, she is skilled, attentive and concerned about her patients.
Her staff is very friendly and professional. It’s easy to book appointments, there is ample parking, and she is generally on time. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 10 minutes vs the other place that left me sitting for over an hour.
Her office also offers the usual array of lotions, lattisse, botox, laser and aesthetics. I’ve recommended the office several times and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work Narra Dermatology!

Alicia is great! Me and my daughter both go to her and our complexion are getting clearer. She explains everything she is doing and what to expect. My daughter’s acne is almost gone.

Enjoyed my 1^st visit with Dr Narra. All the staff were great. Outstanding to have this type of medical care so close to where I live and work.

Alicia Alvarado is a wonderful esthetician in Dr. Nara’s office. Very knowledgeable, friendly and always goes out of her way to make sure you feel comfortable. I would hands down recommend Alicia for anyone wanting to make their skin more beautiful! She is great!

I took my 2 and a half year old son to her for his molluscum contagiosum. She prescribed Retin-​A even though she knew he has eczema prone sensitive skin. The results were horrifying. I could not continue with the treatment. We went later to see Dr. Coke in Issaquah and he was put on a nutritional supplement to strengthen his immune system. His body attacked the bumps within a week and were gone by months end (after having the bumps for over 2 years!). I just received a check for overpayment of my co-​pay (months and months ago). The check was made out to my son. When I called to have them re-​issue another check with my husband’s name or mine on it so I could deposit it into our bank they said to call my bank and then call them back if they couldn’t accept the check. So they charge me too much, issue a check to the minor rather than the guarantors of the account (their mistake #2) and then rather than make it easy for me (SAHM with 2 boys under 5 at home) the woman who answered the phone (Kate) refused to issue me another check with my name and told me to call my bank first (this means 10 minutes of my time wrangling my children while on hold and dealing with an automated phone lady who is unable to hear me since there are loud children in the background :) AND another call back to their office, «because it would save US a lot of paperwork on our end». Well sorry to make you do a lot of paperwork given it was your mistake in the first place. What happened to customer service?! As a side note the doctor was nice and the office was pleasant at the time of the appointment.

I am very impressed with this doctor and her staff. Very friendly and helpful.
