I am relatively new to working out and the gym, I began using a trainer at Gold’s 3 years ago. My original trainer left, but before she did I was introduced to Tanya. What a stroke of luck! Once I added pilates to my workout routine I have seen a dramatic change in my health and physical fitness. Having embraced pilates and taken several classes at the gym in addition to private sessions with Tanya, I can truly say she is by far the best instructor I’ve seen. She knows how to handle beginners and advanced students alike and makes it comfortable for people to get started. Her gym and pilates studio is top notch and I always feel great after working out with her. Wish I could give her 6 stars!

Seriously, just call Tonya. I’ve destroyed my hips from running and nobody has been able to do anything about it until I started doing Pilates with Tonya. My form has improved and I’m training for ultra marathons and my hip pain is under control and starting to become a thing of the past. She’s patient and funny and really knows her stuff.

I had heard great things about Tonya from the Gold’s in Issaquah but wasn’t suuuuper interested in doing Pilates because I didn’t know much about it and it seemed like something women do, mostly. I bought a package and gave it a try to mix up my weight workouts with something that hits the core a bit harder. Wow. Amazing results, especially with regard to my core. Squats, dead lifts and other big movements are much more solid now. Highly recommend.
