Stopped here to get an extension cord for my Halloween lights and found the workers in the store to be nice and courteous. Especially since it’s been awhile since I’d stepped into a hardware store. Of course you can use your credit card here, but like the 5and 10 store in Wantagh, you need to spend a little over $ 5. I was 0.42 over; no problem. Excellent store. I’ll stopped here again and do a thorough look-through to see what else they have that I might need. Especially during the up-coming holidays.

This the perfect neighborhood hardware store. It has EVERYTHING and you don’t have to try to find someone to help you like at the large warehouse places. Recently I purchased 2 big pots for my plants…$ 9.97 each. What a steal. I also bought a cute little pagoda garden decoration, along with all the other things I need like ant traps, keys made, potting soil (less than Home Depot after rebate). I’m a raving fan. Everyone who works here is extremely knowlegable, friendly and professional. This place reminds me (and smells like) the hardware store of my youth.

Forget the big chain hardware stores. The knowledge they have here makes those part time workers at the other places look like idiots. I will never shop anywhere else.
