Bridgeview Yacht Club

Bridgeview Yacht Club was the venue I really wanted to see. I loved the pier look. They also offer a seafood bar option which was a big plus for me. Prior to the meeting, Sam was very responsive via email. On the date of the tour, we met with Sam and walked around the area. The place is the perfect size for our 250 ppl guest count. But the tour and consultation felt rushed. After leaving we both felt that they didn’t really want to work with us. Sure enough there was no follow-​up email or anything. Hmm…

This review is as a guest for my hospital’s annual Christmas party held here:
Bridgeview is beautiful, off the beaten path and on the water. They have valet parking only, from what I’ve seen. The venue is huge. there’s an upstairs area which I assume is another event space. There’s a smaller room up front for events as well. My hospital usually rents the huge ballroom in the back. The dancefloor is ample, and there are plenty of bathrooms to use. The food is delicious! it’s always the highlight of the yearly parties. I’d definitely consider having a wedding or formal event here. In the summer, you can walk on the dock outside and stare at the boats going by. It’s also close to Pop’s if you wanna keep the party going afterwards.
The staff are amazing. One fateful Christmas party yours truly had a lil too much wine and left my mom’s fur coat at coat check. I was sure it would have magically disappeared, but they still had it when i called the next morning and were easy to arrange a pickup the next day. Everyone working the events is helpful and friendly, which is another plus!

I had my wedding reception at Bridgeview on 10÷31÷15, and it was beautiful and perfect. I feel like I can’t say enough good things about the place. As soon as our limo pulled up we were greeted by our bridal attendant, Laura, and our maître d’, Eric. They both had huge smiles on their faces and were friendly and extremely helpful the entire night. Kathy was our salesperson we worked with, and she was informative and helpful throughout the booking and planning process of our party. I have to say, there are a few moments when Kathy might make you feel a little bit rushed, or like she’s not fully listening– but she is listening, and she’ll make your party all you want and more. The food was overall delicious (and the entrees were above average for your typical wedding food.) Also, Kathy called me the week before saying the staff wanted to dress as zombies for our party, we gave them the go ahead, and they did an out-​of-​this-​world job. It was so great, and they were all so enthusiastic in addition to doing their jobs thoroughly. Additionally, the entire space is gorgeous– from the bridal suite (which is humongous) to the outdoor areas to the ballroom, etc. The staff worked with my florist to truly make my Hallowedding vision come to life, and it was fantastic… I could seriously cry tears of happiness just thinking about it– That’s how perfect it was. They nailed it. (Side note: they have a huge number of linen colors for you to choose from, which I really appreciated.) I only hope that someone else we know gets married at Bridgeview so we can go back and experience the place again.

I attended a wedding here with my wife over the weekend. It ended up being a beautiful night and the scenery was gorgeous. The food was delicious and staff was great. This is an awesome place for any fancy event. Dance floor was a little tight, but there were a lot of guests at this wedding. This was my first time here and was pleasently surprised.

My friend had her engagement party here. It was a beautiful day for the party and her party room had the option to enjoy being outdoors or indoors except for when the food was served. The Yacht Club is on the water so the scenery is beautiful especially in the summer.
The food served was pretty good, my friend opted for all vegetarian since she’s a vegetarian. I’m a vegetarian too so that was fine with me. At the beginning of the party we were provided with appetizers.
The party room we were in was very spacious, I like spacious, I hate when I’m in a crowded party room and I have strangers practically in my lap.
I felt the food portions were a little on the small size and sometimes I like to eat so I wish they were bigger.
Overall it’s not a bad place to have a party in this area!

A belated review of this facility from May… We had our fundraiser for our children’s nursery school on a Friday night. The facility itself I’d driven by several times, but upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly valets, a concierge who greeted us graciously and guided us in the right direction. The atmosphere was truly beautiful, situated right on the water, with sweeping views and impeccably kept grounds. The food, which I find to be generally bland in a catering hall setting, was nothing short of outstanding. The passed appetizers were generous and creative. The bar service was also impressive. I would highly recommend!

A wonderful placed for your event. I am here for a high school prom. The food is delicious and the staff is hard working.

There are no words to describe the service, quality, and personal touches that Bridgeview offers to make your wedding truly memorable. After a devastating turn of events with our original venue going bankrupt, we returned to the place where my husband and I met four years earlier. Bridgeview and Kathy, our banquet manager, welcomed us with open arms. They knew our situation and worked with us every step of the way. Taking what should have been a catastrophe and turning it into a true blessing in disguise. Our wedding was perfect. Our bridal attendant, Teresa, didnt miss a beat. She was never overbearing, just arrived every time she knew I needed a drink, a touchup, or a quick breather. Eric, our Maitre D’, was indescribable. I adored him. He just kept me smiling all night. From the moment we walked in, he was there to relieve any stress we might have had. He even called our limo company and had them send us a separate limo home, free of charge. The only way to describe the staff of Bridgeview is inherently kind.
As for the food, well it speaks for itself. I came online the day after our wedding and I think there was more people posting pics of their food then of my husband and I.
Let this review be a reminder that there are places here on Long Island that truly care about people. Bridgeview is number one at meeting customers needs and exceeding their expectations.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here on 10−4−14. It had rained that day during our ceremony at church, but the weather turned around just in time for our beautiful reception. We worked with Samantha planning our wedding for 1 year up until the big day. She was very warm, knowledgable and so helpful. Eric and Teresa made us so comfortable during the reception and they saw to it that everything went seamlessly. I cannot put into words what an amazing team these 2 are together. Every detail of our reception was perfect… From the signature cocktail named after our dog, to the beautiful décor being set up exactly as I had requested. Our guests raved about the food at cocktail hour, dinner, and with 170 guests I didn’t see one person waiting in line for a drink at the bar. The ballroom was beautiful and we got pictures that my husband and I will cherish for a lifetime. We both hope someone will invite us to a wedding at BYC so that we can attend as a guest. We can not find one negative thing to say about our wedding at BYC and I want their team to know my husband and I are very grateful for making our wedding perfect!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding ceremony here in September 2014. Overall the experience was impeccable. The staff here are true professionals and have a genuine interest in making your special day truly memorable. The setting is beautiful (especially on a sunny day), with great water views in both the cocktail and reception rooms. The reception room itself is huge, is nicely decorated, and has a great dance floor. Our 180 guests had ample room to boogie. If you see the place in person, you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.
Kathy, the catering manager, Eric, the maitre D, and Theresa, the bridal attendant, were all top notch and made a potentially stressful day anything but that. We were able to actually enjoy our celebration knowing that everything was being taking care of, and that our guests were having an amazing time enjoying the great atmosphere and killer food. We received so many compliments about the quality (and quantity!) of the food and about the place in general.
Our experience at BYC was truly exceptional. All of our requests were honored, all of our worries handled, and all of our expectations exceeded.

This past weekend my maid of honor and I went to visit the venue. When we arrived the receptionist said we were a little early and to feel free to walk around and check out the place. They were setting up for another event so there was a lot of hustle and bustle working around us. Looking at the banquet hall down the hall we hear a «helllloooo.» down the other side hallway shouting at us. Not the best way I would like to be approached but hey I’ll take it. Kathy introduces herself to my MOH and says congrats to her, I said «Ohh I’m the bride». and she quickly had an attitude explaining she didn’t know. We move on and I explain to her I’m looking to host a wedding reception brunch (which I had also previously called about and they said it was fine) and she exclaimed and abrupt «no» there’s no way you would be able make it incorporating a church wedding. We in fact had already inquired about times from a church, but she needed to make a point that she was right and we were wrong. We then proceed to go into the smaller room, I asked «Is this the room you would use for a brunch», which she replied «yes. are you following me here? You won’t be able to do it.» I’ve never walked into an establishment where I’m essentially looking to spend a lot of money, and be treated like a lower class citizen. It was almost as if we had interrupted her from something much more important. On a positive side the venue is beautiful and the ballroom is recently updated. If I’m being treated like this on my initial consultation, I can only imagine how myself and others will be treated day of our event. Not good Bridgeview. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Came here to look at bridgeview for a possible venue for my upcoming wedding. Spoke to the woman on the phone and stated the date we were looking at. She said no problem. Upon arriving there, she stated our date was booked already. She showed us the venue as another wedding was taking place, and proceeded to bring us into her office where she sped through the options for cocktail hour and reception. My fiancé and I were not impressed at all with the venue for the price they were expecting, nor the woman’s not so welcoming attitude while we were there.

Beautiful wedding, large cocktail hour many many options, great scenery right under the bridge on the water a walk down the dock was shaky but lovely.
It was tricky to get to you need to go thru a shopping center and neighborhood it was odd but a very nice venue beautifully manicured.
Staff was not like hawks they were there when u needed them not when u did not they timed the meals perfectly. A smooth evening that Im sure other guests enjoyed and the bride was grateful

My daughter had her wedding here 6÷28÷14! The wedding was perfect in every way thanks to Samantha and Tricia!!! Wonderful bridal attendant and maitre d!!! Can’t recommend enough! Beautiful venue, terrific service, great food and much fun!!!

A friend of mine got married here over the weekend, and I think they did a great job.
The weather was beautiful, and they’re located right on the bay, so you have the water view and breezes, without the sand in your face. The staff was very attentive, and they seemed to be paying attention to what they were doing (not bored, staring off into the distance). The food was good, and quite plentiful (we overdid it on the cocktail hour and had trouble finishing our food)
All in all, it was a nice wedding, in a pretty hall, for some great people. They were happy, there were no problems, everything ran smoothly and as expected — they did a really good job for them!

THE PERFECT PLACE FOR A WEDDING!
We recently got married here and Bridgeview Yacht Club was amazing. I would never get married anywhere else. The guests raved about the food as the best they have ever had. The cocktail hour room and main ballroom are both beautiful. Samantha, Eric, and all the staff are magnificent.
I could not more highly recommend this location for a wedding. If there was a 6^th star, I would give it.

This place is beautiful and has a great view of the water. I went here on a Tuesday night for the nightclub. I had a great time and the place was spacious

I had my wedding here in March of 2013. It was absolutely phenomenal.
The staff was excellent. My banquet manager, Samantha, was so helpful and informative. Any idea or suggestion that she had was a good one. She especially impressed my dad, which is hard to do.
The location is great. Right on the water without being in the middle of nowhere. The décor is gorgeous, especially the draped ceilings and chandeliers in the ballroom. The bridal suite is enormous with its own bar and bartender. This was the selling point for my husband.
Cocktail hour was phenomenal. All the good was hot and fresh. Everyone loved the Coney Island station with the soft pretzels, hot dogs and cheesey fries. The drinks were strong, not watered down alcohol like other catering halls. The bartenders knew what they were doing.
Dinner food was amazing. I never expect the food during the reception to be that good, but it was better than I could imagine. All my guests still rave about it to this day, and that is pretty impressive for a big Italian family like mine.
The staff were professional, courteous and kind. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating.
I wish I could get married at Bridgeview every weekend.

I came here for the Cancer Center for Kids Winthrop Hospital charity event. This is a great venue for charity events, weddings and parties. Glad to see it has recovered from Hurrican Sandy. Great setting on the water with both indoor and outdoor tables. The cocktail hour featured both set stations and pass arounds and hard working friendly staff. Dinner was Château Briande and Pistachio coated Salmon both done to perfection. The Bridgeview put on a great party for a great cause last night.

We just had our High School Reunion at Warehouse 5 — the perfect location for our group and Kathy was a dream ot work with. We were lucky to have wonderful weather but the service, food and staff were terrific all around. We couldn’t get the guests out of there at the end of the night!
