I KNOW I posted a review of this joint a few years back… mentioned buying the Trib and chatting it up with a friendly cashier and friendly cop.

anyhoo.
I’m not usually very political, but I’ve been anti-​BP since the oil spill a few years back. As such, I usually get gas HERE on my way home/​leaving McHenry. It’s usually cheaper anyway. The only places that come close are the BP in Lake Zurich and the Circle K in Deer Park (? Kildeer? on the corner of Rand/​rt. 12 + Lake Cook).

Terrific and convenient place to fuel up on gasoline, snacks, drinks, and food… Great customer service behind the counter, ringing up my purchases, asking if I want my items bagged, and handing over the receipt in a friendly manner… They’ve got clean restrooms, and relatively competitive food & gasoline prices for the area. I recommend stopping here if you’re in the area in need of food and/​or fuel, like I do/​did/​will do again!

Good gas prices, easy to pull up to pumps, good location, coffee and snack bar is nice, good for big RVs too.
