Roberts Road Mini Storage

I moved to the area and needed storage as I was downsizing. I noticed the «look alike» orange sign they use that’s similar to a chain brand storage business.
Initially everyone seemed friendly and eager to get my business. Signed my lease and started my process. First off, the security gate doesn’t work. When I questioned this I was told it has been out of order for some time but it doesn’t seem to be an issue. I’m not sure how a huge open driveway isn’t an invitation for the bad guys but oh well. Upon a few evening trips loading up my locker, I noticed ALL the exterior lights in my aisle were burnt out. I drove around the facility and about 75% of them were all not working. I called in the next day and was told the lights would be fixed within a few days. Two weeks went by and nothing.
By the third week I stopped by in the evening and noticed a suspicious vehicle near a locker down the aisle for me. I stopped by them «to ask if they needed help» but the declined and immediately left the area. I guess this is what happens when there’s no functional security gate. I phoned the office number in hopes of being directed to an after hours number but the main number is their fax line at night. Unbelievable!!!
About a week later I returned to my locker in the evening, still no lighting fixed, and observed some suspicious damage to my locker. Knowing that calling then would get me a fax line, I called in the morning. The next day I called demanding the lights and gate be fixed, and that there was damage to my locker. I couldn’t believe that I was told that I probably damaged the locker myself! Why would I do that I asked?
I would highly recommend using the other available storage facilities on Rt. 12 in the area. This place has horrible customer service and security obviously doesn’t mean anything to them. I’m the end, I wasn’t even given my security deposit back saying I had damage to my locker. Yes… IT WAS THE DAMAGE I TOLD YOU I FOUND PREVIOUSLY.

Rented a unit here for a month. Good prices and I got my deposit back at the end of the month.
