Solid lobster roll behind Betsy the giant lobster. The owner will chat with you about stuff like Maine and the giant lobster out front. Key lime pie sample was excellent. Great for lunch. Take a peek at the artists village behind it as well.

had the lobster roll it would be extraordinary if they drizzled lobster bisque over it. Just saying.

We stumbled on this place while shopping at the Rain Barrel. Saw a sign that said lobster rolls and thought we would try one. It was so good we ordered another to go. He grills the bun so that it is buttery and slightly crispy and there is no filler, just lobster. If you love a good lobster roll, you won’t be disappointed.

Lobster!!! I am sure it is good but it would be hard to beat the Mahi Mahi sandwiches with Cuban coffee. Forget the Lobster and go with local fish. Sandwich has a very large portion of fish.

Look for the giant(!) lobster on the bay side of the street. The food is a small concession in a group of tourist shops. They have take away and picnic style seating. I love lobster rolls, and never see them at home(rural Pa) so I get one wherever/whenever I can. The one I had here was outstanding. My wife had a grilled grouper sandwich, and she liked that, too Absolutely go for lunch. I’d probably want something nicer for dinner. By the way, the address seems wrong on this posting. A number in the 8000s would be near key west. 86700 is the rain barrel café, in the same parking lot

This was the best lobster roll my family and I have ever eaten. We went to the Lost Lobster three times in our one week during our stay, and still could not get enough. The roll is all big pieces of lobster meat served on a tasty bun made to perfection. Rory and his wife are some of the nicest people we have met and they take such pride in the incredible food they serve. The conch fritters are also tremendous; as well as the delicious Cuban coffee. I can’t wait to go back!

This is the place in the keys to get the best lobster rolls this side of Maine. The lobsters are flown in twice a week for the sweet lobster meat that makes these lobster rolls incredible. A little hard to find, but look for the giant lobster on the right as you’re heading south in Islamorada between MM88 and 87. The Lost Lobster is a little shack to the right of the store. Don’t miss!
