This has become one of my favorite pit stops in the Keys. We ordered 4 small crab legs. They prepared them for us, which was great because we didn’t have any utensils. They made for a great snack while laying out on the beach!

This is the best seafood in all of the keys. The stone crab you eat there was literately alive a couple hours before. The mustard sauce is amazing too. Also just an idea we went for my dads birthday picked our own lobster alive in the tanks and took it alive in a cooler with ice to a nearby restaurant. It doesn’t get any fresher than that. Trust me! It’s worth the drive! I’ve driven down from Miami just to eat the stone crab because it’s the best price your going to find.

This marina is so convenient. I come with my boat and they give me free ice when I put gas, which is awesome! They have super fresh fish. I was amazed with the service, simply the best.

This marina is a little gem in the Florida Keys! I stopped by today and they had the freshest fish choices including grouper and snapper. They even have gas and diesel to refuel the boat. The people working are amazing. The service is exceptional. Keep up the great work.

have bought from them before without any problems until our purchase on 6÷1÷14 the stone crabs were discolored and appeared to have been frozen which makes them un edible, very disappointed in my purchase, could not go back and exchange or complain because we live 125 miles away

Stone crab is pricey this year but it was somewhat reasonable here. 25 $ a pound for large legs. Fresh, delicious. Had about 8 pounds in 2 days =). Probably 50−75% cheaper than Joe’s

If you want fresh lobster, stone crab and fish, this is the place to go. Fresh, fresh, fresh. If you don’t like this place, there’s something wrong with you. Can’t wait to go back when the lobster is in season again!

It looked sketchy pulling up but we gave it a try. The girl priced us yellow snapper at $ 6.99 a lb. Which seemed reasonable. After she ran our credit card she mentioned the price was«on the hoof» she threw our entire fish on the scale with the whole chest cavity still packed with ice! Don’t even get me started on the dude that looked like a member of the jersey shore who clearly had no clue on how to fillet a fish. I never cleaned a fish before in my life and I could of cleaned it better. We ended up having enough meat to make 3 fish tacos for dinner for the price of $ 24!

My one and only trip to Mr. Lobster was after a great day spent on the beach and the only way we could think of completing a perfect day was with some fresh grilled lobster. The lobsters are live in a tank and short of getting yourself a boat and spending hours catching these sea bugs you can’t get much fresher. Our lobsters were not only cheap compared to what local food stores cost, but their freshness was evident in their sweet and tender meat. I would highly recommend a stop here the next time you are in the keys and you are compelled to bring a taste of it home with you!

We were on our way back to Miami from an exhausting trip to Key West. We were headed straight for the airport but we knew we couldn’t leave southern florida without trying some real stone crab. There was no time or money for Joe’s Stone Crab, so we started hunting for a roadside place where we could eat for cheap… and we found Mr. Lobster’s in Isla Morada. This place is essentially a wharf-side seafood market. It’s not even a market it’s kinda like they catch the the food, throw it tanks, and hope people come by and buy it from them as they chill next to the water. What makes this place great, other than the ridiculous freshness of the seafood, is the price. 1 pound of cooked stone crab for $ 7.99? Insanity! Also, the people working here were really accommodating when four out-of-town tourists walked up asking about stone crab like it was some obscene rarity. The guy did his piece to explain the deal and even let us consume the crab right there on the spot, no questions asked, no fuss, no muss. A very«florida keys» laid-back situation here. So, if you want the cheapest, freshest, surprisingly most accessible stone crab of your life, and you’re driving through the keys — it’s worth the stop at Mr. Lobster’s. It’s AUTHENTIC!
