Every time we come to the Keys my daughters make sure this shop is on our list. The art work is incredible and unique. The love the candles, especially the paradise scent. All of the staff and artist a very friendly. And, unlike most shops they are open later than normal. After a Day in the water and then cleaning up and eating usually you’re disappointed because the shops are closed. However the lobster trap is open later facilitating our fun itinerary. We will continue to go back to the shop every time we go to the keys.

Great place ! Art is fun and unique — frames are made from lobster traps which is such a fun idea — stop here if you appreciate local art — the owners actually sign their prints for you too — loved it — highly recommend

Wish I had written the first review for this place… I went there a few years back and bought a lobster trap framed map of the keys. It hangs in our lake house. If I can figure out how to attach a pic, i will do so. The frames are really cool — rustic. We ordered ours with«extra shells». They are nicely sealed, still have a lobster trap tag… They have some interesting«beach art» that you can have framed. We picked a map. Did some diving in the Keys, so we can look at the map and remember… Tell our guests, etc. They have a lot of choices in frames including some that you can use to display several photos. This is just perfect if you like a beachy look, if you have a beach house or just like the beach… Just stopped in for the third time on 4÷22÷15. Picked up some empty frames for our lake house. Still unique…

My boyfriend and I stopped by here on our way out after our vacation in the Keys. I was so glad we did because this place turned out to be a great find. The name comes from the fact that they use wood from old lobster traps to make picture frames out of. They have lots of art from local artists and you can buy just the print, or the print with a frame like we did. They probably have originals too, not sure. The staff are extremely courteous and friendly, and not pushy at all. This is a great place to buy souvenirs that are authentic, and they can ship the art to your house which is what we did since there was no room for a big frame in our luggage. Highly recommended!
