This is one of the restaurants at Cheeca Lodge. It’s just okay, and if you’re held captive at the hotel it won’t kill you. Overall nothing special, and why I gave it and average rating. Just cause it’s in a nice hotel doesn’t guarantee the restaurants are great. Especially at Cheeca, where the foods and service are historically frustrating and below par. Not enough pasta dishes for an Italian restaurant, and generally a small list menu to us. They do have half orders of some dishes, which are all you will need. Otherwise it will be a stupidly expensive meal for what it is. I find it amusing that the outside tables in this restaurant are about 5 along the Windows. And they couldn’t be smaller. It seems like a 4×4 cocktail table they expect you to eat a big dish Italian meal on. So where do you put your wine, the bread, the olive oil, and your food. Laughable. This to me is like everything foods at this hotel, you don’t need to feel obligated to eat here. There are so many other great places nearby.
