Excellent! My wife and I started with a taste of all 10 beers each excellent in their own right with a distinct signature flavor tying them together. This is really, really good beer. Our servers, Kurt and Megan, were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and provided background on the brewery itself. We stopped in a 2nd time on our way out of the Keys for their 1 year anniversary celebration– just one more beer and some«merch». The rum stout had just been tapped– it was awesome! Sorry we couldn’t stay for the party! We wish many years of continued success to the best brewery in the Florida Keys.

What a cool, funky hidden spot! Love, love, love FKBC! They are right next to UPS and as they roll up their industrial complex door to what would normally be a garage, the funky wood tables and over-stuffed sofas are revealed. There are games for each table like giant checkers or cards against humanity. In the very back are the giant vats where they brew their craft beers on location. The have some staples, but also do seasonal brews. Their beer menu has about 10 different beers at any time. Each is labeled with the alcohol content, ranging from 5.5% to 9.4%(as of a couple nights ago). There are many amber or dark brews, and if you cannot decide by looking, they will give you a sample, or, you can purchase a 5-shot sampler. Be warned — they don’t serve food here. Best to eat first and then head over! The vibe is very laid back and old-style Keys. Everyone who works there is into their craft. they are knowledgeable and friendly and genuinely want to be there. FKBC has various theme nights or special events. Wednesday is ladies night and you get to take home a free souvenir glass! What a super fun spot!

Probably one of the coolest/smallest breweries I’ve visited so far. From the decorations inside and out, to the decorations in the restrooms, to the unlimited amount of board games and card games, this place strives to make you feel as laid back and cool as possible. Then again, it’s located in Islamorada so it’s very fitting for the area. The beer flight specials are fantastic. I went with my best friend for MLK Day and ordered a Flight for Two. It was $ 45 and we shared a flight, got two pints of our faves and got to take home two beer glasses and two koozies. My only complaint is that they don’t have any food there. A very simple 4 – 5 item menu would make Florida Keys Brewing one of the best, if not my absolute favorite brewery. Definitely worth the drive to Islamorada though, just make sure to eat before or after somewhere close by.

A great stop in Islamorada, FL! The beer here is good and has a citrus, fruity taste to it. This brewery offers a great atmosphere to enjoy a beer and play some games including jenga and foosball. The atmosphere is laid back, and the bartenders are very fun!

Love this hidden brewery in Islamorada. I purchased two growlers — one to keep at my home in Miami, and one to keep at my boyfriend’s uncle’s house in Marathon. Every time we drive down, we make it a point to stop in. The staff is super friendly, and the beer is great! Great variety, and they have live music on certain days. Hoping that these guys reach out to Miami restaurants so that I can enjoy it on a more frequent basis. If you’re driving down, it’s worth checking out. If you know where Chef Michael’s is, it’s right by there.
