LOVE THIS PLACE. Came here for the carne asada fries and was not disappointed. The plate is huge, the meat is so yummy, and the guacamole is delicious. I would definitely recommend.

Super Cucas is my all time favorite Mexican place. This was were I had my first California burrito 6 years ago and I haven’t had a better one since. Roy the manager is a total badass and deals with so many drunks everyday, but is always smiling and laughing. I love this place!

This place is OK but honestly if I’m going to get nachos or a burrito I am going to Freebirds so if I come here I always get the carne Asada fries or a torta. Just a small place but it’s OK it’s decent.

This place is pretty good. They have a good breakfast and good burritos and nachos. The tacos are different. I order a shrimp taco and it was not what I expected. Was just a huge taco on top of rice .it just wasn’t what I was looking forward to. The food is still good tho

So one day I tell myself «I want food, good food that would hit the spot of course» and I stumbled upon this place. It was completely empty when I walked in and it raised my suspicions about the restuarant, but I ordered anyway. I ordered the super nachos with carne asada (yummy!). The cashier was very approachable and nice. In seconds my food was ready and I gleefully accepted the huge portion of super nachos. They gave me a huge serving of nachos and they were not stingy with their meat or their guacamole! The food was fantastic. I was happy to eat all of it up «nomnomnom». Come try it some time! It’s great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and those late night cravings ;) or for hangovers the next day! «Happy Eating!»

This place has pretty good burritos! I ordered a carnitas burrito with no beans and it was tasty. The gf ordered carne asada burrito but we shouldve ordered it with no beans.

Hands down my favorite breakfast burrito in town. The Rancheros Burrito is insanely delicious, but you can’t really go wrong with any of the menu options.

I tried the California burrito during fall quarter and I couldn’t even finish it. The cold sour cream made the fries cold and I just couldn’t bother with it anymore. Everyone told me that I needed to give this place a second try and today I did. I ordered a sausage breakfast burrito and they skimped so much on the sausage that I could barely taste it. The sausage was in the form of sausage bits lightly sprinkled throughout the burrito.
Nothing actually tastes awful but I’ve had much better burritos elsewhere in IV.

I really want to give it more stars because they provide breakfast burritos in the early morning in IV. But !!! This is not my first time that I found a piece of human hair inside the burrito while I was happily eating. Not the first time!!! I have to throw away the whole thing. Not gonna come to buy anything here anymore. This is enough!

I love super cuca’s because the burritos are huge and there is such a great variety of options and the staff is always so friendly!
They make the burritos so quickly that I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Which is awesome! They definitely have less of a wait and more options than Freebirds.
My favorite thing to get is the shrimp burrito with guacamole, but I also really like the chorizo breakfast burrito. I only discovered how delicious super cuca’s was this year, and I wish I had gone earlier in college. One thing that would be awesome is if they had more pico de gallo! Whenever I come in there’s none left :(

“A delivery?”
«No delivery!»
At this point I was confused. Their website which delivers to the university said they did. But before I had the chance to inquire about it, she hung up. Okay.

Ate here on a Thursday evening. I ordered a super combo plate, rice, beans, lettuce and comes with meat of your choice. I got carnitas.
And it was quite disgusting. They must’ve have not been busy and have been leaving their meat out! Some of my carnitas was dried, and it wasn’t crispy, I meant DRY DRY DRY! They must have left it open and not covered, because my meat was so dry. Over half of my meal was ruined because they have me old meat that was left out.
Portion size, it was a lot for one person, but the quality, disgusting.
I rather eat at Freebirds! Go there people!

One of the most underrated jewels of IV! Super Cuca’s lives in the shadow of another popular Mexican restaurant in IV; Freebirds. That’s why it rarely gets crowded, which is great coming from a customer’s perspective. My boyfriend and I would go here to satisfy our late night cravings. We went here in particular because they’re open way late, and it was a short walk from his apartment. But I must say that the breakfast burritos here are some of the best that I’ve ever had in my entire life. The tortillas are so warm, flaky and soft. The contents of the burritos were so delectable and packed with flavor. Before hearing of this place, I remember my brother telling me about a legendary Mexican restaurant that changed the breakfast burrito game forever. Glad I was able to share his experience.
I didn’t like anything else aside from the Ranchero or Macho burritos. Their regular stuff was so… ordinary to me. But yes. Breakfast burritos for the win!

I had their vegetarian burrito and it was piping hot and bursting all over! Big chunks of potatoes, onions, fresh green Bell Peppers, Tomatoes and cheese. Very tasty. Had to save part of it for another meal. :-)

Seriously, this place is pretty good, especially for somewhere that’s open so late at night! It’s not my favorite taco place in town, but my favorite taco places aren’t open late at night. I only really get the tacos al pastor here, but they’re always full of flavor.

Not that good, not four stars good what the heck?
It’s not terrible tasting or anything but there’s not really a reason to justify how this place is superior to any other Taqueria in fact it’s probably not as good as most in the area. For IV I’d honestly rather go to Freebird’s anyway.
I do improve their rating on the simple fact that the breakfast burrito I had was pretty good. Maybe that’s what I recommend then. Breakfast Burrito.

Pricey, but worth getting good fast food Mexican. They have good tasting salsa, which can really be hit or miss at fast food Mexican.
Ordered the carne asada burrito to have one of my out of town friends try West Coast Mexican food for their first time. It was just as I was hoping for… delicious. Glad to see that they have legit fast food Mexican to feed the masses minutes away from UCSB.
Only issue was that it was just over $ 8 for the burrito. Kind of one the pricey side I think. Other than that, great place to get your greasy Mexican food itch.
