Absolutely horrendous service would be a understatement for how bad it was. It took more than 25 minutes to get a coke. The bus boys and other waiters and waitresses had to bring refills while our waitress was no where to be found. After taking that long for a fountain drink it came as no surprise that my entrée came out cold as if it had been sitting in the window for quite some time. This highly disappointing experience has turned me off from coming back to this restaurant.

Shrimp Cesar salad OMG best i ever had.(to go) Its not on the menu but u can sub salmon or chicken for shrimp. Also the lobster flat bread pizza is amazing, lots of lobster meat!

My husband and I were here earlier. We were seated right away. The waiter we had was very nice and helpful. The place was peaceful and quiet. I had the ultimate feast and it was great! I also order the berry mango daiquiri. Omg it was so good!

Haven’t been to Red Lobster in Iselin in a while and won’t be returning. The server, Melvin was very nice and accommodating. The food, well let’s just say that you need a magnifiying glass to see the shrimp because it wasn’t any larger than a quarter and the portions much too small while the prices go up. $ 5.49 for a CUP of soup??? which wasn’t even fill to capacity and served too cold. The bread and salad were as in the past but the meal itself was a disappointment. Between this place and Olive Garden, I can’t say which is declining more rapidly. I’ll go back to Shop-Rite and purchase shrimp there where I can get two dozen at a far better price and much larger and grill it myself at home without having to leave a tip. Upon arriving, the«server» told me that the place didn’t open until 11AM but it was after that and they were still sweeping the carpet and hanging decorations. Shouldn’t this be done BEFORE patrons arrive? Nah, the place is not the same and the portions anything but palatable in appearance and much too expensive for the price. Lot’s of other places to eat especially the privately owned where they truly care about their product as well as the patrons. Deciding to try Red Lobster again was a waste of my time and yes, my money.

Always have a nice experience here! Food always tastes great. Staff is friendly. I feel right at home. I usually order crab legs with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans. I don’t leave anything on my plate! It is so good. Always look forward to coming here.

The service is good and the atmosphere is great and the ambiance is amazing: the food here is excellent and the desserts are spectacular… but of course the only reason why I come to eat is because of the caesar salad(with extra croutons I might add lol) and of course the cheddar biscuits which are the best ever: absolutely no complaints so far

Really enjoyed my last meal at this Red Lobster. I really wish I remembered our severs name but he was very good and attentive. The biscuits and Caesar salad were standardly delicious. Warm biscuits and a salad with just the right amount of dressing are always a great way to start a meal. I ordered the create your own combination. I had the seafood stuffed flounder with coconut shrimp which was absolutely delicious. For my side I had the creamy lobster mashed potatoes which I did not see on the menu the last time I was at a Red Lobster. Nonetheless the lobster mashed potatoes are a must especially since they were not skimpy with the lobster!

Here with wife having dinner at Red Lobster. Had ordered red lobster fest. My wife was craving for. May the end of our meal we wanted to utilize retail or not coupon and Daniel the bartender stated that they don’t accept any coupons!!! I was amazed/shocked. We go out on special occasions and every restaurant accept what the web promotes. Is it false advertisement!!! Food wasn’t that great to begin with. Joe’s Crab Shack is better. The manager wasn’t friendly at all!!! Restaurant wasn’t busy on Wednesday night.

Had dinner here tonight, was charged 22.99 for the entrée New Orleans Salmon, the menu price listed it at 17.99. When the bill came and I questioned this, both waiter and manager said the lower price is the lunch portion, and I ordered the dinner portion.(it was dinner time) No place on the menu were 2 different prices for this entrée.(other items did list 2 prices but not this one) I said the menu is wrong, the manager said, not wrong, just missing information. Apparently I am supposed to know this, and not complain about it. The manager has a lot to learn about customer satisfaction, if the menu is not clear(and it’s not) the issue needs to be addressed, and the bill needs to be adjusted accordingly. Poor management is NOT the way to run a restaurant.

I will be adding a photo of my receipt to go along with this review [CHECK #47577]. WORSTEXPERIENCEEVER!!! I come here every now and again from the city opposed to the one on 42nd street. This is usually not too bad of a spot but it has gotten worst over the years. My parents used to bring us here every two weeks. They stopped. MYWAITERJAMES M or JIMMY as it said in his name tag was HORRIBLE! THEWORST! I was so disappointed, my friend and I almost walked out without even eating. We come into the restaurant at 8:55pm and we were told for 2 people it would be 35 – 30 minutes later. We decided since we had a movie to catch at 10pm and it was about 10 minutes away from this restaurant we would eat at the bar. All we wanted was claim chowder. THATSALL. Two bowls of soup and of course the biscuits. THISISWHY I AMPISSED: [yes I’m crazy and noticed all times] We placed the order at the bar at 9:02pm with JAMES/JIMMY. He gave us the check at 9:05pm! Keep that in mind. He said he would place our order immediately and be right back. 9:12 rolls around and I yell over to him to please bring me and my friend a water… he said right away. At 9:17 I hear him call out to someone«Hey can you get me two clam chowders and a biscuit.» AREYOUKIDDINGME?! You gave me a check without even placing my order. He finally brings the water at 9:22. One at a time. He was too busy making drinks I guess. There were 2 – 3 people in the bar area. Finally at 9:26pm our food gets here. 20MINUTESLATERFOR2DAMNSOUPS??? Mind you, by this time the people who were right before us and came to the bar to drink were seated and their appetizer orders were being taken [they were right behind us]/ AREYOUKIDDING!!! We had to leave by 9:35, 9:40 the latest and now i felt like i needed to inhale my really hot soup. He finally comes over to us at 9:35 and states«Im sort i had a rush… NOOOO the same people have been there. you made us wait 30 minutes and they cannot wait 30 seconds?! I guess we did not matter. So JAMES/JIMMY was chucking about it trying to save face. NO. YOUGAVEME A BADEXPERIENCE. So my crazy order, my thousands of dollars order was too much for JAMES/JIMMY. Two bowls of soup…$ 12.82 total was too much to ask for. WILL I EVERRETURN? JAMES M/JIMMY made me NEVER want to return.

Stay away!!! Horrible service and quality of food!!! Take the time to drive to another Red Lobster! I order a drink while I waited at the bar because I had a 45 min wait for the table. The bartender took about 15 mins to acknowledge me then proceeded to charge me first before even making my drink. I waited 30 mins before my drink was made because he forgot. My drink arrived to my table without a straw! There were no silver ware at the table. Our salsa came out and we waited 5 minutes while the waitress looked for silverware. It’s just a nightmare I can’t even go on. I won’t ever return to this red lobster! I should of went to Olive Garden smh!!!

I love their biscuits and ceaser salad at this location but I feel like the wait time at the south Plainfield location is usually shorter. I love their strawberry piña coladas, the seafood trio with shrimp scampi and shrimp Alfredo and their lobster bakes.

Very shocked to see many negative reviews here for this establishment… I took my fiancé out for her birthday at this Red Lobster… The food was excellent… They did give us complimentary biscuits which tasted great… We did wait almost 40 minutes for our order… That was the only negative thing to report but we did receive an extra set of biscuits during this time… The salad is also good too…
