Patients be aware of this office. My wife is almost 5 months pregnant to find out that if we do no like his services we can find somebody else. To make a long story short, the ladies at the office did not file proper documents with our insurance company via their electronic network which our insurance company requires (he is their in network preferred doctor). They sent a fax 2 weeks ago that goes nowhere and refused to do it electronically claiming that this is the only way they do it. Now, we are having a mid pregnancy scan at RWJ that also no referral was send. They do not have the knowledge or ability to submit the required docs the proper way so do not be surprised if you get a bill that your insurance refuses to pay due to their negligence. You will be lucky if you get a call back about any of your requests. We made the mistake of going with this doctor for almost five months even though we were warned by friends and family about much worse situations that happened to them during dr. Magier’s services. We hope they will also contribute reviews on this and other websites. The only good thing about him is that he spends a good amount of time with his patients (half of the time he will not remember your medical history anyways) so expect a two hours delay from your appointment hoping that none of the front desk ladies’ friends do not show up and cut into the line without an appointment. We understand that working with pregnant women may be difficult but there is no excuse for documentation negligence or improper medical calls as happened to our cousin. Dr. Magier despite the pictures of the saints on every desk and table in your office your only saint at the end of the day seems to be Benjamin Franklin of course if you pay cash.
Update: we are two weeks after the visit at RWJ and still no required documents were sent by the office to the hospital so the saga continues.
