Stopped by today because I love the jimmy Johns in the high desert(Apple Valley) they have great customer service an their food is great BUT this location does not compare, their Customer service is below average. I ordered a turkey tom with sprouts and the cashier said«we don not have sprouts at this location» then I ordered a side of hot peppers and he said«we don’t give extra peppers because we don’t have containers» with no sort of apology or smile. I get peppers at all the other locations, so why deny your customers extra peppers at this location? I’ll visit jersey mikes next time I’m in town.

well I thought I’d give them a try to redeem themselves, but alas they were worse than before. the staff is not helpful. the tuna unwich had all the condiments n cubes at the very top not distributed in the sandwich. again they handed me the sandwich as I was standing there with out a bag or napkin even though the order was plainly printed togo. I think a first grader would understand the meaning of to go printed in ¼ caps on the receipt. this time to add insult to injury they charged me 1 dollar for a pickle and didn’t give it to me. I hope art the stores are not like this one, I wish we could give negative stars this place deserves a zero at best. save your money and go to any of the food joints with in a 100 feet. hey jimmy if you read this you owe me a dollar for my pickle. I give this store two thumbs down and a never again.

We stopped here after leaving the faire, and darn they didn’t staff appropriately. There was a line all the way to the door, and only two people working. They got everything out as fast as possible though, and then Roxanne asked us what radio station we’d like to listen to. They did a great job.

Best subs in town hands down! Subway or jersey mikes has nothing on Jimmy Johns! Easy to order, fast service and great music. Sandwich was awesome. Will be coming back here soon.

If you want a bread sandwich this is the place. Ordering over the phone is ridiculous.

Giant subs are not that big, half size of subway’s footlong.(Not that it is not enough but it is kind of misleading). Dry and no flavor. But the bigger issue is that at 2:30 pm I am the only customer in the store and there are 7 employees, most of who are just sitting and listening to music, rather loud, and singing with it, loudly. On the way out, I got a very condescending«Have a nice day» with laughter. I felt like I intruded on their party with my patronage. I guess I know why I was the only one there

Place is a sandwich only establishment. Not at all like subway where you can pick your toppings. Several sandwich types to choose from. Clean and organized. Staff is courteous and attentive. They deliver and catering available. I ordered the Turkey Tom with no mayo and opted for mustard which came in mustard packets. Typical turkey sandwich nothing special but french bread was soft and fresh

I was just. there for the first time and had the Italian Nightclub. It was one of the freshest, best tasting sandwiches I’ve ever had. Will be going back for more, but not today. I always say that the bread is what makes a tasty sandwhich. I had the roll and it was so soft and fresh. Can’t wait to be back. The staff were very helpful and patient with me. It usually takes me a while to make up my mind, but not today. You’ve got to go and see for yourself and hopefully you will not be disappointed. This beats Subway’s any day. I would post a picture, but it’s gone.

I dont know what the other comments are about but this place is offff the chaiiinnnnnn. My sister kept telling me to come & I was like«Nah, why do I want a cold sandwich when I can make it at the house?». Serious Question. So finally, I made it down there on their«Customer Appreciation Day» where subs are only $ 1!!! I ordered a BLT&BBQ Kettle chipsssss. OMG it was so good, I’ve been back twice already. I’m not about that bread unless we talking about money but this french bread is to dieeee for. PERFECT! The inside décor is unique & entertaining, has good music and sarcastic quotes on the wall. Even the restroom pictures are funny(if you’re cool and have a sense of humor) I really like that they scream«Pickle!» if you order one haha. Hilarious! They also deliver if you are within range!(: ENJOYPEEPS.

It’s my 3rd time in a week since I discovered Jimmy Johns a week ago. The last two times, I came to this location. The first time I came was on Sunday and I ordered it on the phone and a young guy took my order and had it for me when I arrived. Everything is cool. Yesterday I invited my brother and so we went. We got there and it was a female manager who wears glasses and two young guys with her that she was training. Man oh man did i feel bad for those two guys. She was condescending and demeaning as she ordered these guys around. She used words like«common sense» and would make comments to make it seem like these guys were making all the wrong choices. She made ME feel uncomforable. I’m gonna look for a different location to dine and I hope these guys start looking for a new job because having this girl as a manager will not be a pleasant experience. The sandwiches are good, but she made the ones we ate and you could taste the dissatisfaction in these sandwiches. They were made with resentment and without joy. Who wants to eat at a place that hires miserable managers. A business won’t grow to it’s potential when you have miserable people working there.

First off, whoever owns this franchise please tell your staff to turn the music down!!! Unless you are trying to discourage people from staying or from coming back. This is my first time at Jimmy John’s. Bread was delish, sandwich good, chips great. With a drink over $ 10. Not unreasonable I’m my opinion. Did I mention the French bread? Yum. Staff was nice and helpful.

I’m going to start off by saying I’ve loved Jimmy Johns sandwiches for years. Yes, they’re more expensive than Subway or Quiznos, but in my opinion they taste a lot better. I was thrilled when JJ launched in California and even more excited when this location opened up just minutes from my office. JJ offers free delivery and ordering is easy through their iPhone app. I’ve only visited this physical location once, mostly I get the sandwiches delivered and the delivery is lightning quick. Overall, a great sandwich delivered quickly!

The food is good, workers are friendly, fast service and better then Subway. But both times I have been here they messed up my order. Asked for no tomatoes and add onions, I get no onions with tomatoes. The food is good just double check your order when you get it.

They make good sandwiches, but nothing incredibly special to write home about or something I’d crave. And a bit pricey for a sandwich. On the upside, the ingredients have always tasted fresh when I’ve gone. The #13 gourmet veggie is really tasty(lots of avocado, so obviously delicious). I also like #11, the country club. I recently ordered a lettuce-wrapped sandwich(#11, bread less with extra lettuce, no mayo, extra tomatoes, and cucumbers) that was SO incredibly wet that all the water and juices pooled at the bottom of the paper-wrapper. When I got to the bottom of the burrito-wrapped sandwich, peeling back the paper, all the liquid spilled out all over my dress. I understand that when you wrap a sandwich in fresh lettuce, it’s going to be a bit wet… but that was just too wet. I guess I should just be happy they wash their lettuce well. This particular location was packed at lunchtime and the line was to the door. Also, they don’t have sprouts at this location(even though they have it on their website for other locations), which bums me out because I enjoy sprouts in my sandwich. Like I said, good, fresh sandwiches and I’ll probably eat there again since it’s near the office, but not necessarily something I’d crave.

I love this sub place! First heard about it years ago, and ate it for the first time in the Midwest. It’s freaky fast. And greasy. It’s no Subway for sure. My fav subs are the vito #5 and big John #2. Can’t believe one opened so close to my work place. I’m in trouble!

I wish I could give 0 stars. Lets begin… Finally something new in Irwindale. Walked in and the place was pretty packed. Go to order the #12 beach club and the cashier asks what kind of chips I would like and he recommends the salt and vinegar flavor so I grab those and we puts a cup on the counter for my drink. This whole time he is also training about 6 other people at the register. When I first walked in I thought $ 7.99 for a 8″ sandwich was a little steep but then if it came with chips and a drink that is pretty good being that I hate subway and love sandwiches I would def. be coming back. The cashier then says it that all and I hand him my card. I get my receipt and the total was $ 12.73!!! The chips were $ 1.50 and of course the cashier chose the largest drink for me which was $ 2.19. He even tried to get me a try one of their famous pickles. Never once did the cashier say would you like to add chips and a drink to your order!!! He made it seem like all this was included by asking«and what type of chips would you like today» and just putting the drink cup on the counter. $ 13 for a bag of chips a drink and a sandwich is ridiculous!!! I can go to a restaurant and have a nice sit down lunch for that. Not really much to say about the sandwich either. The lettuce was wilted, hardly any meat on it and the guacamole was terrible and seam like it was some powder form. The best thing about the sandwich was the bread and that’s about it. Not that it matters about the service of this location. But after looking up jimmy john, apparently he loves to kill things. I am not against the sport of hunting and using the animal for food as well as a trophy but the owner loves to hunt exotic animals that you would never eat the meat and kills just for the enjoyment. He posts photos of killing elephants, leopards and bears which I think is pretty messed up. I am no vegan or tree huger but were do we draw the line of hunting and killing just to kill? If you want a quality sandwich that comes with a side under $ 9 go to New York’s Finest by the west covina mall as I do not see Jimmy Johns staying open long if they do not drop the prices a bit.

4 stars for the sandwich, 0 stars for the value averages to two stars. I’m not going to lie, I liked the roast beef sandwich. It was simple, and tasted pretty good. However, $ 9.18 for a basic sandwich and a small soft drink(no chips) is simply unreasonable for the quantity of food being offered. A combo with chips and a drink at $ 7 or $ 7.50 would be about right. I think they’re going to need to figure out a way to offer coupons to keep the local business patrons coming in here. Maybe the delivery service will keep them going… we’ll see. Quiznos couldn’t make it in this location offering similar quality and lower prices.
