I wanted to write an update on my recent experience with Enterprise. Last Friday, I received a note on Unilocal asking me to contact them with some additional information about my experience, which I did. I was then contacted by Colleen, a Social Monitoring Coordinator, who said that she planned to forward my information on to an Area Manager to review my concerns. Today(Monday), I received a phone call from Mary, who is the Area Rental Manager for Enterprise. She seemed genuinely concerned about my complaints and stated that she plans to do some more training with the staff. I assured her, however, that the staff were friendly and helpful, but did admit I felt very inconvenienced due to their lack of knowledge in some areas and lack of being thorough. I was sent a voucher for a 1-day free rental. So, although the customer service was lacking, I appreciated the follow up I received.

Probably one of The most unprofessional car rental places around. The staff are always rude and they constantly change their story. Called in a reservation and was told it would be ready in 30 min. When I arrived 15 min later they said«we have 7 people ahead of you, but we can have a car later today»(after I spent $ 15 on a Über there) I ran up the hill to Budget and they took care of me on the spot. Avoid these jokes

Called 90 minutes prior to closing. I am less than 2 miles from them waiting for a tow to a dealer they serve. I explained my true dilemma to the agent. «Sorry m’aam, we close in an hour and a half and are not doing any more pick ups» No offer of an alternative or … gasp… going the extra mile for a stranded driver. They just lost a customer for life! And an 8 day rental today! I am a full time business traveler. After today’s treatment, i will certainly eliminate Enterprise as a possible car rental service and pass this along to my colleagues. Foolish business!
