I’ve been going to this park all my life so I might be a bit biased but I like it a lot. It looses a star for all the geese poop everywhere though. My family and I refer to it as «geese doody park» as I’m sure a ton of other irvingtonians do. Other than it, it has so much too do! Great spot for picnicing, rollerblading, biking, watching fireworks, barbecuing… and it has a pretty sweet playground.

Beautiful park!!! Great views of the Hudson River, barbecue grills and picnic tables, playgrounds for kids. Major problem is there is goose crap all over the grass and the walking paths. Everywhere!!! It’s a real shame.

If you walked in this park and didn’t step in goose droppings, you should try your shot at the lottery.

Great park, I’ve been going here all my life. During senior year of high school when I would get out really early on some days due to my schedule, there was nothing like heading out to go get some Chinese food and then sitting on a bench looking out at the Hudson for an hour or two — great way to pass time before afterschool club meetings or whatever. Also great to go for 4th of July fireworks, it’s really a shame they can’t afford to have them as frequently as they used to but oh, well, it’s a great park and you can’t go wrong with the view.

I used to come here a lot for the July 4th fireworks. It is great because you end up seeing fireworks from Tarrytown, Rockland County, and across the river in New Jersey as well as the Irvington one. 4 fireworks from one park, it doesn’t get much better than that. Not to mention the view of the beautiful sunset and the lit up Tappan Zee Bridge.

Nice place to catch a sunset near the water. There are basketball courts, spots to picnic and grill, playgrounds, and much more. There’s also nice restaurants along the water.
