Better Than Philly Cheesesteak

Let me tell you something!!! To say you are better than Philly is making a HUGE statement that you BETTER be ready to live up to! This place absolutely does! Omg! The best! Real talk!

Can’t take an order for the life of them. They called to clarify and still managed to put ketchup on everything. Delivery was insanely slow. Driver pulled up with his best friend in the car and cold food. I can easily say he went to get his friend first before delivering to my house of which is only 5 blocks away. I Would NOT recommend this place to my enemy.

Well I just don’t even know where to start. Let’s just say I am very disappointed. The food here is very distasteful. According to the menu the tacos were to be very well dressed. Lettuce tomato. Etc. instead I got two handfuls of lettuce and what seems to me squirted American cheese. The he Hennessy wings were OK. The sauce was what made the wings. The sweet potato cheesecake? Was extremely distasteful and very soft. Liquid running out. Like it was soaked in water. Not sure what that’s about but … Do without if ever considering. I also ordered mozerella sticks in which a girl called me and said they were out to choose something else. I didn’t know what else so she recommended a jersey burger I think is the name. It had bacon lettuce and cheese. I took the lettuce off because it looked cook. I also took some bacon off because they do give a generous amount of bacon. And the burger was the best thing I ordered out of the 4 things. Most likely won’t be ordering from here again.

Their philly cheese steaks come filled with meat ! It’s a big sub. The place is small and its right next to Rita’s so you can stop by for ice cream and a phillyyyy. 5 stars on the sub

The cheesesteaks here sent me into a food coma. Now I know what being on heroin feels like. I had flashbacks of the tryptophan high for three days. Since I can’t handle that level of food based endorphins regularly, I order the Asian Chicken salad which is not only really really good, but a little too bourgeois for the block. The owner and propietor, Dre is mad cool and you would think he’s the neighborhood capo by the steady stream of customers who interact with him on a first name basis. They have a food truck as well to sling the chronic on a hero roll in Newark too. Overall go to BTP and get high. You’ll thank me and save money on therapy.

50 cent wing Wednesday, how I love thee.
This is a very small establishment who prides themselves on the cheesesteaks, but their wings steal the show. The seating is really only a couple of counter stools just to give you an idea on how small it is.
Everything is cooked fresh to order, so it’s not just laying in warmer which I really like.
Now I have come here soo frequently that the lady at the counter recognizes me each time and any changes I’ve made in my hair and we have a lil small talk about my crazy boy or her grandkids… Lol. You can’t buy a rapport like that.
They do have a food truck, so if you see them, def give them a try. And as long as 50 cent wing Wednesday exists, I’ll keep coming back! (Even on a Thursday)

This place hands down has the best cheesesteaks in new jersey!!! Very clean place and amazing food. I will be back.

Love this place, whenever I’m in the area I’ve got to stop for some Henny Wings and cheese fries… friendly staff always ready to help and share a laugh. This is a staple of the area can’t wait to go back!

The food is ok. I’ve been twice and the service is nice the lady that rang me up was friendly. The first time I had a cheesesteak with everything and the devil wings. The second time I had a burger and the glazed wings. I consider myself a big burger person. I love trying burgers from different places. However these were not good at all. To me it was dry not juicy or any flavor the buns are nasty too. I agree with another post that they need to find a new supplier. The cheesesteak is not great just ok. The wings however both times were delicious… I won’t rush back here but I will order wings if I get in the order out mood

Wings are not too good. Very salty and not fresh. Bones on wings are very dark, indicating frozen and not fresh. Cheesesteak is ok, not great.

Came across their menu in a car wash. I figured they must be serious if they distribute their flyers in another town.
But what prompted me to try them was an item I have not seen elsewhere: a fishsteak. It was spot-​on.
Price points are in alignment with their quality.
Call ahead to save time.
Also homemade potato chips are excellent, superior to anything on a shelf.

I really love this Philly cheesesteak place I mean I went there for the first time since they open up. I mean the bread taste so hard but the meat was alright.

This had to be the best cheesesteak out of Philly that I have ever tasted!!! 2 different kinds of cheeses! With a 3^rd cheese for only 1 dollar!!! …#amazing! Idk if the bread was dry because the flavor of my sandwich overpowered the bread… not to mention the extensive menu! Crab Mondays, Taco Tuesdays, Fish Fridays… plus the everyday menu includes wraps, salad, burgers, shish-​ka-​bobs, wings and Nachos?!! Everything is delicious… you can trust a chef that knows how to use rosemary… this is my new weekly spot! A must try if you are in the area!

They have good sandwiches BUT they need better bread. I don’t like supermarket quality rolls they need to hook up with a bakery. They do have good service and are friendly (very unhood like). I will be back.
