I’ve been coming here since December, when I first found out about the place. And I loved their food. I was going to give them 5 stars when I had their food the first couple of times, that is until I went with all of my family just last night. First off the tables were very sticky, up until the point we had to ask someone to come by and wipe them for us, but the cloth they used was barely even wet and made no difference. But I let that slide. Next, the owner, whom I’ve spoken to many times and I honestly thought was a nice person, was showing A LOT of attitude. I really wanted turkey bacon on my burger and asked if I could get the double cheeseburger with bacon. He replied saying no, you can order the turkey bacon burger instead. I asked if I could get a extra patty on the turkey bacon burger if I paid extra and he was being very rude in telling me no. So I said screw it, just give me the double cheeseburger and left. He gave me my receipt, which said 10% off on any order over $ 25. The receipt didn’t say WHEN or What time or even said how you could use it. There are no specifics written, it just said 10% off any order over $ 25. So when my sister and her husband got Done ordering, they spent $ 30 and I gave it to them, and said here take 10% off. The Owner said no, you have to use that next time. I said where does that say that on the receipt? Can you show me please? And he didn’t answer me and said he wouldn’t accept the 10% and ignored me fully as he went on taking my sisters money. He couldn’t answer me because he knew that I was right. If it said in fine print *must be used on next visit* I would have kept my mouth shut. But seems like he doesn’t know what fine print is, and is making assumptions to make his customers feel stupid. I go to school in Irving and thought I had found a new awesome burger place to enjoy every once in a while when I’m at school. But I guess not. It’s a shame because I like their burgers. Guess I’ll stick to Olive Burger from now on, considered they’re the same price, but Olive Burger is so much better.

Had their crispy chicken burger. It was my first time and I feel HORRIBLE leaving 2 stars but the owner said that it would be one of the best choices. To my disappointment it was an al safa patty. It was super thin and I was more than underwhelmed by the burger. Couldn’t taste much besides the burger and the lettuce with the messed looking patty. I’m gonna give them another shot incase it was a bad pick but hoping my second time around will be better. I also tried their wings– they were actually pretty good! I would get the wings again but stay away from the crispy chicken burger. Owner was super nice and friendly which is always a plus in my book.

Really good food! We tried the Philly cheesesteak and the ZZ burgers and they were nice and juicy. The meat was perfectly cooked and was also seasoned before putting in the burger/sandwich. Good customer service and will definitely be returning. Also zabihah halal which is always a plus. Very well priced for the entire meal

Went here over the weekend. Wasn’t too impressed. Felt like all their chicken and gyro is from Restaurant Depot, and they just fry and simply serve.

We have been going by this burger place for a while and thought since we were craving for burgers, this would be a good place to try out. I tried the Hawaiian burger and my wife went with Olive Burger. Hawaiian burger was pretty juicy, but I it’s because of the dressing, the patty itself was just average. The olive burger patty was undercooked, so her cravings remained as is when we left the place. That means, time to hop to another burger joint. :) On the way to ‘Mixed up Burger’ in Grand Prairie.

Well the service was definitely friendly and the restaurant itself is very clean, open and inviting. However, when it comes to the chicken tenders I’d totally skip it. They are the run of the mill«Grade A Restaurant Quality» tenders you can get anywhere including your local middle school cafeteria. That’s a perfectly fine offering for a kids meal, but when you’re selling tenders as a regular menu item it falls way short. On this point the owners should start hand-breading breast tenderloins. Another good idea is to have a selection of dipping sauces. As far as the regular fried chicken — haven’t tried it. But ZamZam is already behind the curve by not offering rolls or biscuits. I may go back to try the burgers, but if they don’t wow me gonna have to cross this place off my list for good.

Chicken was ok. Kinda could taste old oil in the batter. I ordered two piece dark meat with a biscuit. Biscuit was old and a bit stale. One piece of chicken was moist and the batter fried just right and crunchy so I enjoyed that. Wasn’t much flavor but still enjoyable. The other leg(I got two legs by the way instead of the usual leg and thigh at most chicken places) was dry… in fact the batter was hard and broke up in my mouth like cubes of ice or charred wood or whatever. The meat on the chicken was shriveled and like jerky. Apparently they refried some pieces of chicken and passed it off to my by giving me one piece new and one piece refried hoping I would believe it’s ok. Well… It’s not. Third thing and the damnest thing about this place. They turned the light off in half of the restaurant. Driving up I was confused thinking the place was closed. Looked inside and there they were working inside. Word of advice: Consider one reason for being so slow in business where next door at Maki Boy it’s pretty busy is that customers think you’re closed or you’re about to close so the food you have will be old. Who wants old stale fried chicken???

A delicious and diverse menu with friendly staff. One of the few places in town that serves zabiha halal fried chicken that actually tastes good. They also have a kids menu that isn’t just a portioned version of the regular menu like many other restaurants have. Overall a great place to have a bite with friends and family. The burgers have plenty of flavor(especially the BBQ Chicken) and the fried chicken will leave you wanting more!

Tried this place out last week. Have been waiting for a good hand cut zabihah halal chicken and burgers restaurant. I’m pleased to say that the chicken was very good and that the burger was very juicy and tasty. My kids really liked the fries, kulfi and Oreo milkshake too. Place is clean and even has a prayer area. Will be returning. Check this place out!

Tried the fried chicken with a biscuit. The biscuit was awful. They could do better with a Pillsbury can. The fried chicken was pretty good. Not the greatest but pretty good. I’ll have to try a few more things and update.
