Do not order through phone they put us on hold twice. And never said anything. Food is probably good but we never had a chance. Service was nice but not good enough to get any freakin pizza!

I have been here a few times mainly for pizza. But a only twice for dine. The place is dirty, very dirty and outdated. They have these fake vines all over the place full of dust. The place has a weird odor to it. It’s like they never clean. I can imagine the kitchen. The food is ok, you get large portions. Most food besides pizza and some pastas are most certainly frozen. Their Italian sausage sandwich gave me the runs. Their lobster ravioli is frozen from SAMs. Service is slow and they always seem understaffed.

Some of the best Italian food in DFW!!! I found this place like 3 weeks ago and have eaten there 4 times. OMG this place is good. I have had the lasagna, Pizza, lobster ravioli, and Stromboli. Im a big pizza nut and I must say it was super good, definitely reminded me of classic Italian food. Lobster ravioli was a spur of the moment splurge and I was very surprised. The sauce was great and the ravioli was just slightly sweet. I almost ordered a second plate. The Stromboli was ginormous. Size wise it literally looked like a large pizza folded in half. I ate it for dinner and lunch the next day. The juices soaked in and it tasted a little better the second day I wont lie. And finally the lasagna, last but surely not least, it also reminded me of classic Italian food. I haven’t had lasagna this good in a very very long time. It really put Olive Garden to shame. Price wise it was a bit cheaper than Olive Garden as well. Also they have a sit down restaurant side, and a take out side. I had no idea why until I realized after going regularly that this place has regulars and I think Im one now too lololol. You could definitely take a date here and look like you know this small hole in the wall that no one knows about. Its kind dark and quiet in the dining area. Located in a small shopping center near Wal Mart. I only stopped in one day because I was hungry after getting a haircut. I feel lucky to have found it.

This is my favorite Italian food restaurant!!! Good food, good service and great prices! I’ve eaten at other places in Irving, but this beats the you-know-what out of the others!!! Favorites are shrimp scampi, veal piccata and egg plant Parmesan!!!

Eating out for me as a vegetarian and socially responsAble ABiAn can often result in a resolved antipathy, to which i resolutely assert in the aftermath my absolute clarity that it will never happen again… each and every time. On this evening i was spared from the angst and confrontational hypocrisy of my style of life. For a day well-lived, this day, today I was rewarded with generous portions, decent toppings(no claims of organic, local or sustainability were heard or experienced) and mostly a warmth in service from the staff. On our occasional trips into town from our bucolic tincture that is our homestead, we look forward to the temptation and surrender to this out of the way experience. Thanks, Ray!

Food was okay, we had three different dishes, but three times pasta. The pizza looked great on the other tables, so next time it will be pizza :) The service was good and fast.

Best pizza in the metroplex. Fresh ingredients, large portions. Reasonable prices. I love this place. Would highly recommend

Our first visit to Vito’s, probably our last time. Service was terrible. We had to ask for menus, we had to ask for water, we had to ask to be waited on. We had a visitor from out of town with us. He got his food long before we did. We could not get a waiter’s attention and had to go to the kitchen door to ask if we were going to be served our food. The food was ok but not worth the wait, All in all an unpleasant dining experience. The fried calamari was not very good(avoid it).

I love ordering from here! The employees are very nice and patient. The pizza is so good and two slices fill me up. I suggest trying the grilled chicken pizza, it tastes like heaven! The only con is when I get it delivered sometimes some of my toppings end up on the box but I can live with that!

One of my favorite local Italian spots in the Metroplex. I’m so lucky to live so close. Most of the time we call in, our food is ready in about 15−20mins and it’s fresh and hot. There are times have our food delivered to the house… and sometimes we eat inside. I tend to order: chicken alfredo, chicken carbonara, pizza, stromboli(and they have chicken), lasagna, spaghetti, meatballs, Italian sausage. The portion sizes are large. Especially when ordering a pizza. If you dine in the atmosphere is casual. There’s a restaurant entrance and a pickup entrance. Try this house salad dressing, it’s so good.

Hidden little gem! Best kept secret for awesome Italian food. The lobster ravioli and lasagna are amazing. The pizza is really yummy and huge! I love the home-made ranch dressing. Their salads are always cold which is great! It’s delicious! We drive from Dallas just to eat here. Super good!

This pizza is greasy goodness. A large is just that, LARGE. Only come here if you’re REALLY hungry. You can take what you don’t finish to go, but you’re going to want to finish the last slice. Very down to earth, small establishment. Only complaint is the greasiness of the pizza and the lack of napkins.

I was not impressed. I ordered a pizza and ate one slice. The crust is too thick, the pizza was too greasy(not that good greasy either, just covered in oil), and it just wasn’t that great. I also got a salad, which was ok except that I asked for the dressing on the side and instead my salad was drowning in it. All the good reviews make me want to go back and try something other than the pizza but I’m here to say the pizza is not good.

Hidden Italian treasure. One can drive right past this restaurant and never know it. It is very convenient at 183 and Esters Road in Irving. The food choices cover all the basic Italian dishes. The actual food is surprisingly very good. If you need a nice Italian restaurant in Irving, anyone should be happy with this choice.

I was an Olive Garden girl through and through before going to Vito’s. My husband took me here for our first date over 10 years ago and I have never looked back. The food flavor is consistent even though they do everything from scratch(including their Ranch dressing). It truly is as good today as it was back then. I always get the chicken alfredo(grilled chicken and lots of it) and the SO will eat the chicken parm or the make-your-own stromboli. And the pizzas are HUGE. Delivery(within a few miles), dine-in and dine-out. Polite staff, quickly gets the right food to you and delicious. If you are in the area, try it. One of the best kept secrets in Irving. We now live almost in Mansfield– and we will drive the hour round trip just to get it– so yum! Tip: Get a side of Ranch to dip the garlic crusty bread in. So awesome no matter how many calories you may be adding to your day!

This place has been around for as long as I can remember, and it’s still as good and consistent as the first time I went. The GREAT news is that they deliver. Their prices are great for delivery, and their service in the restaurant is great!

Great food, huge portions. If you leave hungry it’s your own fault. Recommend the Italian sausage and peppers sandwich, or the Stromboli, or… oh just buy something it’s all good.

Stromboli is a type of turnover filled with variouscheeses, typically mozzarella, Italian meats such assalami, capicola and bresaola or vegetables. Thedough traditionally used is Italian bread dough. What they servered me was hot garbage Texas Style. Then the waiter wanted to get an attitude. Just beware of bad food and bad service in TX
