Pretty little neighborhood park with a playground, paved walking trails, a series of ponds, water fountains and basketball hoops. I lived for a couple of months in the area around this park, and I visited it more or less everyday. It was always pretty busy, but everyone was polite and it had a really nice vibe. There is abundant wildlife, for so small a park, with white and blue herons, turtles, nutria, ducks and geese. It has a statue of Thomas Jefferson on one end, and a statue and memorial of Mahatma Gandhi on the other. The memorials are lit at night, but the rest of the park isn’t.
