The Parking Spot – DFW South

Great folks here. They put out extra effort is getting my handicap scooter on and off with Delta.

Fast Service from Spot to Airport and again from Airport to Spot, there was absolutely no wait time. If fact the shuttle was waiting right behind me the moment I came out of the car!

I have used The Parking Spot a number of times now. They are wonderful. I really like that they pick me up at my car, and pick me up at the terminal. Its super easy. The drivers are always very kind and helpful. And they give you a free water when you leave! Its a great service to offer! And I highly suggest them!

The parking spots turn around times to get you to the airport and picking you are are getting MUCH worse, almost as bad as swift park. Last time it took forever for me to be picked up. The time before that I nearly missed my plane because the driver was so busy making sure that the poor people didn’t have to stand in the sun it took me over 30 minutes to get to the airport. Today it did take me over 30 minutes to get to the airport. The driver did put me out by the skycaps. They have a limit of 45 minutes before the flight or they can’t check your bag. I got there 50 minutes before my flight but had to stand in line. The skycap took me upstairs but by the time they called us over I missed their 40 minute cutoff. My bags had to go on the next flight. I then had to go back to the airport and pick up my bag. I’m not sure I’ll come back. There has to be something that can get me to the airport on time when I’ve allowed 30 minutes for the 5 minute drive to the airport. We had one passenger from each terminal. It seems as though the driver could have asked the flight times. The people who had over an hour got let out first. 3 terminals later and I was out of luck.

This was our second time to use this Parking Spot location. Our car was safe and their prices are great. The shuttles are prompt and friendly. We have also used the Parking Spot at Love Field and at Austin and experienced the same great service.

I have had the same experience as many reviewers… to the airport is generally prompt and pain-​free. Getting picked up is totally the other way. Had to call twice to get picked up at Terminal D. The first South bus drove right past the pickup point. Then 4 North buses came thru before the next South bus. One of the North drivers could sense my frustration (body language?) and he volunteered to radio the South lot. Only then did a bus show up. The driver was good and very helpful to all the passengers, but it is not his fault that they seemed to be understaffed at the South lot. Maybe they should promote someone from the North lot to run the South.

My flight arrived after 10:00 p.m. I called as instructed, stood in the advised area only to have the shuttle pass by me without stopping. I will not use them again and am giving one star as Unilocal will not allow me to post my comments without it.

I parked my car in burning 100 degrees heat and started waiting to get picked up for DFW ride. It was not before 20 mins that I was picked up. PATHETIC SERVICE. I am a premium member of the parking spot but was first time at their south location. Cheaper prices (than their other locations) and the so the service. Tiffany was the person I called twice during my 20 mins wait and she was loud and rude and asked me to wait. When Todd picked me up in sweaty condition, and after telling him that I was upset, not even a word of apology. AVOID this place and pay extra $ 2 at other close by parking companies.

I have used this location 3x now and have never had a problem.
+ They always have my reservation on record
+ Call and response are quickly addressed
+ I am asked if I would like a complimentary water bottle at check out every time :)
+ The drivers are quick and are eager to help if you do not know which gate you are supposed to go to

As many other reviewers report, great service to the airport, terrible service in the evening going back. The service at Love Field is NEVER slow. This has been an on going problem fir years, please correct it, as many of your competitors have more frequent and regular service. I’d love to be able to update this review.

Easy in and easy out. Very efficient.
Use DFW South location regularly. Been a great experience all but one time. Parking Spot took corrective action and rectified the situation very promptly. Was most satisfied.

Usually have good experiences with them but this time was the worst. Started off by being accused of parking in the wrong spot after asking the lady at the front to repeat it twice. Then road with the most careless driver in all my experiences and finally was dropped off furthest from the gate I was needing to enter. When paying for 9 days of parking I will be taking my service elsewhere if this level of service becomes the norm.

I agree with a lot of the other reviews. Getting to the airport is always super quick and easy. Getting from the airport is a different story. The busses run at awkward intervals and you can find yourself waiting upwards of 25 – 30 minutes for the bus, and then many times you have to make a few stops at other terminals. Sorry Parking Spot, but if it takes over an hour from the line I land until I get to my car, it’s just not worth it anymore. For every 1 Parking Spot bus, I usually see at least 3 Express Parking busses.

It may be worth the extra money just to use Terminal link. Shuttles seem to be fewer

I travel weekly, and am required to use this lot by my company. Getting to the terminal is usually no big deal (although we did have to wait over 15 minutes this morning for some unexplainable reason), but getting back to the car at the end of your trip is a crap shoot. I typically plan for an hour from the time my plane touches down on the runway to pulling away from the lot. The terminal shuttles come by randomly, and sometimes you will wait 30 seconds, while the majority of time you will wait 15 – 20 minutes. Calling them does not have a whole lot of effect as I have found out. I can easily jump in a cab and get to my home 35 minutes away faster than waiting on a shuttle for a ride to my car (if only I could justify the cab expense!)

The drivers are always wonderful. I do know with the construction there are long lines of traffic at the airport. Both of my drivers did a great job of getting through the crazy airport traffic and making me feel like I had nothing to worry about.

$ 20 bucks taxi to the South place.
$ 60 to pay Spot
I am driving home at 1:55 am
Coming in at 1am and with three kids waiting to get home, I have high hope that The Parking Spot will be there in no time. We waited for 30 minutes after out requests for pick up via phone. Two North Cars have passed, then at 32 minutes after the the South cars passed us by and did not even attempt to stop, I called for another pickup request. By this time, the young lady knew that I was waiting for a longtime, she said it should be about five minutes later… 10 minutes went by, I took myself there and three of my kids. On the way of rolling my luggages from the yellow gate to my parking spot, the Yellow polka doted bus now showed up and offered to take us from their parking lot to my car (about 50 ft)… Are you f*** kidding me… It’s 28 degree in Texas and I waited 40 minutes … Are you serious…

Worst idea I’ve had in a long time…
First off, the initial drop off is great so 5 stars for that… you go right to a spot and they pick you up and drop you off right at the gate… Bravo! (If you’re the first one to be dropped off)
Now this, –3 stars for the pickup upon arrival. I get my bags and my family and I wait for 30 minutes in the cold and rainy weather for their shuttle. Then, when we get on board they told us they have to hit 2 more terminals… excellent! Use the express parking because I saw a lot more of their shuttles when We were waiting in the cool temps.

Not sure what’s causing the downslide of this service. They used to be professional, efficient, friendly and timely. Instead… you’re met at the entrance with a non-​smiling, difficult-​to-​understand person who tosses an attitude like «why are you interrupting me».
Want your car washed while you’re parked? Great service offering, right? Forget about it. Even booking days in advance left my car still unwashed and bringing that up on check-​out saw more activity and effort (we’re taking about a minimal charge here folks) with Parking Spot than I saw during the mortgaging process of my house. Seriously — just remove the damned charge. You don’t need to get other people in the office involved, call managers for approval blah blah. At least there wasn’t a fight over it and kudos to the one nice girl in the office (yes — she even Apologized!!)
The drivers to/​from the airport helped with a bags and were friendly for the most part. Checking out of the lot saw the same unsmiling, unfriendly, «whatchuwant?» attitude. Thanks for the previous-year’s good service Parking Spot but I’m done. Oh. and you can keep the warm bottle of water on check-​out.

Convenient. Decent prices! The service is always awesome. Had to get a jump after a long vacation and they were super helpful and quick with getting my car started! They’ll even wash your car for you while you’re gone! They also give you water on your way out.
