Tried butter here: Good: mutton curry and chapatti. Liked potato Bindi masala was good but bindis were cooked as whole. Not so good: As previously stated, not so much clean appearance . chapattis are refilled one pm by one pc– so all will be taken by a person in front of you… Chicken curry was full of vinegar and spicy. Nobody greeted us and explained anything. So sorry for no tip.

Have tried Curry combo yesterday with Dal, Mushroom curry and Goat Keema curry. Dal was fine, mushroom curry was just ok and keema was worst that I have tasted in my life. I could smell raw. Everything was good until few months back. Don’t know what’s happening in recent times.

Good place for South Indian meals particularly curries to take home. Everyday evening for the last two Months. we the parents(15) from India are enjoying Indian tiffens and teas, particularly Cut Mirchi and punugulu. Taste is fantastic One should go and taste them in hot and enjoy. Warlu V Vaka from Hyderabad

Food is great and prices are reasonable. Been going here for a while. Friendly staff. Smaller place that is not a issue at all. Free tea too.

If you don’t bother about hygiene, only then I would advise to enter restaurant. Though it is convenient for many bcz of location I would never recommend this place. Mutton biryani has chicken pieces and long Hair… Most disgusting to find hair in your food. And chicken biryani has Okra pieces in it. I wonder what kind of recipe the chef has.

I have been a sort of regular here. I like the food and its quite close to my place. We went in for a breakfast this morning. The combo was good. Then it happened. A couple of customers who came in after us, seemed to know the staff well. They picked up their food, dhal served in a small cup and went to their table. After a while fresh dhal was re-filled in the food container. One of the customers came in to the buffet bar, poured in his dhal from the cup into the container, and poured himself some fresh dhal. All in front of the staff. It was so unbelievable. I am not even sure what happens in the kitchen. Will not be going back again.

Buffet is nice & cheap with limited options… but its worth the price The snacks(mirchi, bonda etc) & Indian tea is excellent… this place reminds me of Irani café in Hyderabad. you can see many indians hanging near the store sipping hot tea while puffing cigarette… :)

This place has mediocre food, crammed seating, disorganized grocery, and higher price. You should go here only if you have a cultural curiosity of how the bums back home loiter around a tea-stall; SouthAsian-style fraternal camaraderie.

Kind of pisses me off I even stopped in here. Asked for items on the menu and after going to the back I get told«we don’t have ____.» Why the heck is it up there then???

I don’t come here to eat but rather pick up a few things I need at the last minute while cooking. That too, I only come here bc I live right across the street so it’s very convenient. Here’s my breakdown on the shopping experience: Pros: convenient drive, stocked with paneer that has not expired, lots of coconut juice Cons: $ 8 minimum purchase to use a credit card, poor quality produce, stale looking groceries and sweets, not very clean or inviting looking.

Very Bad. Extremely Spicy even for a regular Indian who generally eats spicy food. The taste of almost all items is below par and very poor ambience

A bit disappointing… we were looking for some great Indian food, but were quite disappointed with our experience. Lets put it this way: they don’t even have Nan bread! Try another Indian restaurant.

So bad. Went there couple of times, they sell old food stuffs. Purchased some chicken puff and its literally made from days old oil and it stinks. And the chicken stuff inside is also very bold. I strongly advise NOT to buy stuffs from here. We are paying money and they have to provide good stuff. Total waste of money.

GOTODESIDHABA – its less than a literal stone’s throw away. Don’t bother with the buffet, its terrible. The chicken tasted like some old sesame chicken with some indian spices. Nothing was really special, I found myself loading up my styrofoam plate with rice and eggplant. Desi Dhaba is just few doors down. It is awesome too, I’m telling ya.

Now that the BF lives in Irving I can go to all the Indian restaurants around him. Score! Somehow we ended up at Sarigama and my first thought is… ehh…this place looks a little run down. But whatever, we were there and let’s get some food in mah belly! So we walk in and first look at the buffet. It didn’t look very fresh and nothing seemed to be piping hot straight at the kitchen but WTF do I know about Indian food. Then we stare at the menu and try and decide what to get. We ordered some off the menu items and the lady at the counter asked if we would want to try the buffet because it was only $ 6.99 and you can try everything and not just one item for more money. Ok, she has a point, and all the people in there were Indian and they were gobbling it up. I cannot tell you the names of pretty much anything we had but all of it was pretty good. The highlights were the basmati rice that had some sort of interesting spice on it that made it BLAZINGHOT! Wheeeweee that shit will clear your sinuses right out. The mushroom somethingorother was also spicy and tasty. Liked the curry chicken too but it had bones in the chicken which made it hard to eat with plasticware. Oh and the spicy chicken 65 and the naan was tasty as well. We pretty much stuffed ourselves. The ambiance was a walk up counter where you pay and get your can of coke, the buffet with plastic plates on top, and luckily a thing of filtered water with cups beside it so you could get as much water as you wanted, or shall I say NEEDED, after eating all that. I also enjoyed the Indian dance music videos on the TV. When I say enjoy, I mean I was ignoring the BF and staring at the tv while tapping my foot and nodding my head to the beat. That shit is catchy! And the entire time we were there we were the ONLY white people in the joint. Everyone else was Indian or Pakistani. I guess that means it is pretty authentic? Or just cheap. Either way, not too shabby. You can walk from the café right into the Indian grocery. 5lb bags of basmati rice, curry powders, and stuff that I have no idea what it is or what to do with it. I liked looking at it though and imagining someone cooking it up for me. Soooo someone have at it and make me some dinner.

Nice restaurant that serves authentic andhra food. Menu is refreshing. Their mirchi bajji and chicken biryani bring back that nostalgic taste of authentic andhra food. Afternoon buffet is simple, tasty and more than worth for the price of 6.99.although some of the dishes are bit spicy it is what andhra dishes are famous for.

First time I’ve cried eating Indian food. They seem to like to put whole jalapenos in their buffet offerings. Wasn’t particularly enjoyable, but the buffet for $ 6.99? Not a bad choice if you are in the area. Nothing particularly memorable to praise on the buffet, but if you are into spicy, this is your cup o’ tea… This place does have sort of its own character though; it’s located in a little Indian grocery store.
