i frequent this park. its a safe good place for biking or running. Walking has become more difficult with the number of bikers on the trail these days. Bikers are not always as accommodating to the walkers as they should be. Prior to all the flooding, the park was clean and well kept. Since they reopened in September there is an odor and I’ve noticed an abundance of wildlife. I know that they are working on cleaning the park up so i dont think this will continue to be a problem. Overall i really like these trails(despite the rude bikers and family of armadillos). They have large concrete paths, benches for resting, views of water, a water fountain and a toilet. Parking is never a problem.

Right in the middle of a huge highway intersection(635 and PGBT). You get a water view. Lots to see. New condo/home construction off to the west. Trails. Sitting area. Plenty of bike rails to tie up your bike. Small parking lot. If you work in the area, it’s a nice place to break for lunch!

It’s a nice park for running and biking. Does anybody know if there’s a parking lot around it?

This is an extension of the beautiful, scenic Campion trail that stretches across Valley Ranch and Las Colinas. Bring your bikes… walk…rollerblade…run…just move and groove! If you want some nature therapy… and just to get away from it all? Come here. It’s a sanctuary of sorts. There’s always folks out and about the trail. Everyone is friendly! I very much enjoy the active outdoor life and this provides you with that and so much more.

My favorite place to start biking the Campion Trail. Plenty of parking and easy access to trail. Helpful tip: some Saturdays and Sunday, there are mountain biking races that wind through the parking lot, so be careful driving through there. Note: Incorporating both«loops» of the Sam Houston Trail portion, then biking down to the«water station» in the Las Colinas Urban Area and back, and doing both«loops» again, nets you right at 15 miles. It’s a very pleasant ride…
