Sallee Photography

We paid $ 12,000 for our photography with Sallee. They were «nice» people but not what we expected. From the get go we had a terrible time scheduling with them. They failed to tell us they were going on a trip for the whole summer. I didn’t even receive bridals. We only had a couple of days a week to work with our schedule and JB in particular was rude. We didn’t receive our wedding photos for approximately a year after the wedding. We were actually disappointed bc they sent us our box with photos that were just regular CVS like photos. The ones we were sold on had a white border and looked much nicer. We had to ask them to send us a whole new set bc they looked like crap. By the way the box can be bought online for way cheaper than what they charge. I beat myself up over paying so much and the service and photography was sub par. They were extremely difficult to work with! I hope this helps future brides-​it stressed me out beyond belief! They don’t seem to genuinely care about their bride/​grooms. We asked JB to redo our acrylic pano bc it wasn’t exactly what we had asked for. There was a lot of extra black space at the top. He promised to remove it and send us new one. He said he mailed it to our home but we never received this $ 1900 item. He actually tried to charge us more for it but we called him out on it. We ended up just asking him to give us back our original bc it was way too much trouble and we never received our new delivery. He actually never sent it, he just told us a lie. Very unprofessional and sad. JB will also ignore you until he is ready to respond. You will email him again then he is rude to you. We got into a fight over the phone and my husband was like — «are you serious». He couldn’t believe that someone we paid that much to could be so rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Facebook is a whole different story. He will go off on go about his clients. He gets so mad when you try to contact him in multiple ways and then makes you feel horrible for trying to reach him even though you are the paying client. If you pay $ 12,000 for photography you expect the best. We can’t even display our $ 2500 wedding album because he added one of my boudoir photos to the album that I do not want every guest to see. We specifically picked out each photo for our book and he somehow added one of me in my lingerie. They are laughable. Our wedding was in Sept 2013 and I haven’t had time to write a review but trust me I have told lots of people about their behavior. They are nice people but horrible to work with especially for one of the most important days of your life! Not to mention they are super expensive for what you get. They are overpriced and under deliver in my opinion and I’ve heard that from a few people since we hired them.

Sallee Photography has been photographing my family for many years! They are always professional, sweet people and AMAZING photographers. We have done a wedding with lots of fun sessions and now my children and family as we grow. We love that our pictures never look like everyone else’s. Never a bad experience with them. Price is accurate with other photographers that are the same caliber. LOVE them!!!
