I would give thus place 0 stars if I could. Have given them several chances to prove me wrong but no. They only care about making money. Brought in my phone to have the charging outlet fixed. 2 weeks later my phone won’t charge. Bring it back only to be told they have no warranty. Went someplace else, they fixed it for half the price and gave me a 6 moth warranty. The owner is Rude. DONOTGO

I am a fairly big klutz at times… especially when it comes to my iPhone. My iPhone 3 had to have the screen replaced three times and my iPhone 4 just once(so far). The iPhone 3 repairs were done by three different places here in Dallas as I was never satisfied with the repair and would try another shop. Each shop used third party glass of poor quality that not only felt strange when maneuvering but also broke with the slightest impact. In fact contact with a set of keys in my pocket caused the screen to break in 1 incident. Furthermore I felt like I was being overcharged when they were using substandard parts as the glass/digitizer replacement cost between 149 and 169. After upgrading to an iPhone 4 I went a little over a year without breaking the screen as the 4 is much more forgiving. The inevitable happened the day before I was scheduled to be in Greensboro, NC and I needed to get it fixed ASAP. I work in Irving and a search for«Irving, TX iPhone Repair» turned up several results. What made Lone Star stand out if that they had been in business since 1999, used genuine parts and had a special on the exact repair I needed for $ 89. I took my phone to their kiosk in Irving Mall and was greeted by the owner. I watched as he disassembled the phone with such precision that each move of his hand was productive. Each part and screw was systematically placed to make reassembly fast and correct. My phone was again perfect and I could tell that the glass was genuine. About a week later I dropped my phone while getting out of the car. When I couldn’t find it I retraced my steps and finally located it in the flower bed next to the driveway covered in leaves. The phone looked fried. The next day I took it to Irving mall and he disassembled it, and while I walked around the mall took a blow dryer and dried it out and brought it back to life. He remembered me from the screen replacement and only charged me $ 5 since he had recently done work on it and did not have to replace any parts. His honesty today is what motivated me to write the review as he could have told me anything and charged for a water damage repair. I give them 5 stars for quality of repair, 5 stars for Customer Service, 5 stars for honesty and 5 Stars for pricing.

This was a most disappointing experience… saw their ad on Craigslist and they were close to my house(need my phone unlocked). The young man working there did honor the«special price» for Craigslist(had to call his boss for approval) and he took the info on my phone and said he’d get back with me in 30 minutes to 3 hours with the unlock code. I waited and waited and finally called him right before closing to be told«Oh, I’ve been busy» followed by «we can’t get the code to unlock your phone» :-(. He called his boss(again) to see if there was anything else that could be done and that was NO also. They did give me a refund but it would’ve been nice to have known the situation so I could have had time to find someone else to do it. I had an identical phone unlocked on Harry Hines and it took about 20 minutes so I should’ve gone back there in hindsight.

I bought a cell phone charger from this place. I had to return four different occasions because it wasn’t changing the phone. After the third visit I had the phone tested by the line carrier AT&T. There was nothing wrong with the phone, it was the charger. I went back spoke directly with the owner, who showed no concern and didn’t even listen to what I had to say. I repeatedly said all I want is that you give me a charger that works. Their policy is no refunds, only exchanges. I understood that and ask two of the sales representatives to exchange it at different times. The told me that they could only exchange once with in a 12 months period. Every visit to the place was within the first seven days after purchase. I asked the representative and the owner directly If he was going to refuse to give me a working charger and at the same time keep my money. The owner said yes. They tried four different charges in my presence and none of theirs work, but I had purchase another one from AT&T store that was working, so I need he was selling defecting products, and taking advantage of people hiding behind a no refund policy. In addition to deceiving practices they are rude and show little concern for keeping peoples money. I told him I was not about the $ 16 dollars, but about the principal that, the owner is ok with selling a product that doesn’t work and get away with it.
