Decent value for what you get. I think my previous complex had better features in the apartment itself(real wood floors, double door refrigerator, real wood blinds, nicer looking cabinets, options regarding color of granite and backsplash), but this complex has a much better office staff, gym and addl workout studio, and complimentary community events. The events are pretty popular and often include free pizza and beer/wine/soft drinks. The location is convenient for me, as its near my work, and only a few miles from MacArthur’s Target and various grocery stores, including a new Whole Foods that is under construction. I don’t have any major complaints about the community itself– you will encounter«bad» neighbors just about anywhere… people who don’t pick up after their pets(despite the plethora of fully stocked poop bag stations all over the property), people who throw garbage on the ground, people who leave trash all over the common areas, and people who don’t use drink coasters on community tables. The grounds maintenance people are friendly and seem to do a really good job of cleaning up after the lazies every morning that I see them when I’m getting coffee before work. Management is pretty responsive and accommodating to reasonable requests in my opinion. I’ve been here for about 3 months

Great accommodations, friendly and helpful staff, terrific neighbors, brand new building, and ideal location! And the Cares Team makes you feel right at home right from the day you move in. I would recommend this place to anyone! Uptown living right in Las Colinas!

Uptown style apartment, $ 100-$ 200 less than Uptown prices. So far I feel it’s worth the price when compared to other apartments in the same range. I wish the cell phone service wasn’t so bad and they had a dog park or at least a dog wash. Guest parking is slim to none. But other than that I like it it here. Staff is friendly-ish, lots of resident events, gated garage parking.

There have been at least ONE break in(car and home) a month since this place has opened. I have yet to see a courtesy officer. Incident Report #‘s:150016100, 150017412, 150022741, 150023960, 150025167. You can check and type the community properties address in to view all incidents that were reported. I have also seen drugs deal and escorts working out of this property. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Very nice amenities, but the property is way too overpriced and not worth the money to deal with these issues and more.

The Jefferson is the picture one gets of «urban living» in their heads. While The Jefferson is not located in a downtown area, it is conveniently located within Las Colinas as many people work in Irving/Las Colinas. It is also fairly close to Dallas. My cousins recently moved here a few months ago and I had the pleasure of visiting them. I’ve been a homeowner the last four years and didn’t miss apartment living until I visited The Jefferson. The common areas are incredible. The conference room you can reserve, the workout room, and the massive rooms where you can eat, drink, and be merry while mingling with others are amazing. The social aspect and events put on by The Jefferson sound awesome for young, urban professionals. Security is another amenity that caused me to reconsider apartment life. Using your key to access common areas and elevators is a major plus. I’ll definitely be back to explore The Jefferson and check out the pools come next summer.

Living here has been great because of the friendly service and amenities we receive. The care team make sure to have events throughout the month that cater to all age groups. It has been fun living here and it’s a central location to get to anywhere. I fell in love with the staff’s eagerness to help my family and the consistency of them willing to help. Fabio was very cooperative and understanding of our situation and helped us out as best as he could. The pool was great during the summer. The residents are very nice and welcoming. There are a diverse group of residents and I love it! Come check out Jefferson at Las Colinas, I promise you’d want to stay!

After an exhausting 2 full days of apt searching-i looked at over 20 places. I am moving from AZ to TX and knew it was going to be difficult to handle it all from out of town. I was driving back to the hotel and saw Jefferson Las Colinas. I turned down the street and said that it would be my last place to try. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a sense of feeling at home. That was the only time during my apartment search I had felt that. I was greeted and the leasing agents and Concierge took care of my every need. They completely cater to the residents and have helped me so much in making this move happen from 1000 miles away.

The building is beautiful but it is like being back in college. For the amount of money we pay in rent I don’t want to hear loud, offensive music from the pool almost ever weekend that the management pays for. How about more amenities and less alcohol and parties? Once some idiot gets hurt and you get sued it will stop. I can’t wait until our lease is up and we can move…

Jefferson Las Colinas is a great place to live. Amazing amenities and neighbors! One of my favorite things are the sponsored events that are hosted by the complex:) They have multiple events each month to help you get to know your neighbors. Easy access to local restaurants and bars. I truly enjoy walking my dog at the lake just across the street. My favorite thing is the trash service!

THEWORSTUPSCALEAPARTMENTEVER!!! I wanted to be very thorough on my review so that you would seriously think twice before you move here. You should very much so walk the entire apartment building, property and garage before moving in. PARKINGGARAGE: DONOT get a unit on the 1st floor as it is not gated and the 4th floor is NOT covered. Who planned this place? Additionally, the parking is already scarce for the units to spots ratio(and the complex is not even halfway complete for construction), however, for $ 50 bucks you can get a reserved spot(what a joke). Also, your guests are required to park on the 1st floor during business hours and after business hours they are required to park in the 6 or 7 spots by the office. Also, if you have guests there is no way to buzz them in and the way the building is setup it could take you 5 minutes just to get to them as you take on the long hallways and terribly placed elevators. PETS: If you have a pet you are charged a $ 500 pet deposit, but get this, you have to walk ACROSS the street to walk your dog as there isn’t a grassy area for your friendly loved ones to use. MOVEINDAY: unless you have a unit that is on the same side as the leasing office(with a view of the adjacent apartment complex), be prepared to pay your movers for an extra 2 – 3 hours as there are only 2 elevators as the 1st elevator is located by the leasing office and the 2nd elevator is in the middle of the building and not accessible by moving trucks. TRASH: Yay for Valet Waste Management! BUT for the times when you have more than 1 – 2 bags of trash there aren’t any trash chutes or dumpsters to place your extra trash. And because the place is carpeted no trash bags can be placed on the floor or you will receive a trash violation. Fun stuff, do we love the place yet? BATHROOM: Make sure you pay attention to where your toilet is placed. Your shower door could open right up to the toilet. Yay, GERMS(SMH)! Or, you could be dribbling on the toilet seat as your almost fall off your toilet to reach for toilet paper. Also, the standup showers don’t have anywhere to place your shampoo’s, face towels, etc. I guess this place put more thought into the amenities than the actual units. HALLWAYS/ELEVATORS: Per the previous commentary you are aware there are 2 elevators that aren’t easily accessible for most tenants. Additionally, the hallways have emergency doors throughout the property in the event of a fire, BUT they stay closed which leads to lots of noise(the doors slam hard) when tenants enter and exit each door. VIEWS: Let’s see, unless you have a pool view(which you pay more for) you will have the luxury of being able to look at the adjacent complex next door or your neighbors bedroom windows. CELLSERVICE: there isnt’ any! The end!
