The sales rep sold me a woman’s bed. The descriptions and the advertising of the items are completely false. When I asked for a refund they wanted to charge me additional 20% restocking fee. The owner does not provide customer service and hung up in my face numerous times when asked for my order number to complete a complaint to BBB. Do not use this company. Irving Blvd Furniture is the worst.

I bought a bed for $ 750 and the slats from the bed frame broke in the first two months after. I called the furniture store about a warranty and they told me they couldn’t do anything about it because it had to be done in the first 30 days. The furniture is cheap and will break easily I don’t recommend for anybody to buy anything from there because everything is just all crap! Never going to buy from there again and if I could put zero stars I would!

Amazing service and negotiates so well on prices. Great prices and hard workers. Got a queen size bed frame, mattress, boxspring, dresser with a mirror, nightstand, table with four chairs and a bench all for $ 1500. Such great people and great deals!

I went to Irving Blvd Furniture when I moved to TX almost 3 months ago. I had been looking elsewhere but didn’t like the prices for what I’d be getting. I wanted a decent price without it being total garbage. When I got there, I was immediately greeted and was offered assistance. I like to look around and be left alone. Others offered assistance but no one was pushy which is perfect. When I found what I liked, they were great at the check out too. They don’t like credit cards which is understandable. They would make less profit and their prices are much better than average. It’s a business! Anyway… the guys then opened my dining room table set box and all was perfect. They helped load it into my truck and here it is 3 months later still in perfect condition! I definitely recommend shopping at Irving Blvd Furniture!

So, I did end up going back here to buy some things. Two things you should know about this place: 1) Buyer beware and 2) You get what you pay for. - I’ve been looking around a lot for stuff for my apartment. I just moved here and wanted to get rid of a lot of my old junk. I wanted to replace my dinette set and get a new bed(not the mattress — just the head + footboard bits.) I have been looking around a lot and comparing prices. This place is cheaper than most and has some decent stuff. I went here and got the table + chairs I liked, as well as a bed frame. Total damage was about $ 650. Note: They don’t take credit cards. Well, they take them, but they strongly urge against it because of some piece of paper they have that talks about the possibility of fees if you use your credit card, etc. I don’t know if that’s true or not — I don’t think they understand the law or they misunderstand what it means — but either way I used my debit card. Hope that wasn’t a mistake! - So I paid for my stuff and was told to go around back to get it. I drive around and soon a kid brings out the table + chairs in a giant box. He opened it up so I could inspect it, and sure enough one of the corners is dinged. I didn’t make a big deal of it but they said I could have a lamp or a credit. They showed me the lamp(no thanks) and so I said a credit is fine. They took my license to cut me a $ 15 check. Meanwhile, they tried to jam this thing into my Forester. It fit. Barely. In doing so, the box caught on a metal thing in my car and tore the box. Thankfully, it didn’t do any(further) damage. I had to then drive to another building to get the bed. They opened that up for me as well, and of course, HUGE ding in the upper corner of the headboard. It had been«repaired» ie: covered up with black paint/marker. I was kinda upset. I mean what the heck — I’m not paying for beat-up furniture. Or maybe I am? Maybe that’s what it’s cheaper here? They mumbled something about«taking care of me» but I didn’t know what that meant. I helped the warehouse guy, who was cool, to inspect everything else and re-wrap the boxes, load up my car, and tie down the head board to the roof. He did a good job. The drive home was harrowing, and lugging this stuff into my apartment on my own was nuts, but I got it there in one piece. The furniture is cheap stuff — made in China or Vietnam. Judging by the look of the paint used on these pieces, I’m afraid to imagine the factory they came from. They went together fine, took a long time to assemble but everything is OK. They look great once setup and hopefully I’ll forget about the dings over time(probably not). There were some minor scratches on one of the seats as well as the fabric in the headboard. So, really you do get what you pay for here. If you’re OK with not-so-perfect furniture, then this place is for you.
