HZ Acupuncture & Herb Clinic

Today was my first visit with Dr. Chen and I was left shocked at the treatment I received. I told Dr. Chen of my problems related to Lyme Disease and the pain in my neck and shoulders that are consistent and do not go away unless treated at least once a week. She asked me if I had to be any where else and I said no. She then proceeded and treated me for 2 ½ hours. No doctor has ever taken their time to treat me like that.
I saw two other Dr. s prior to Dr. Chen but I could not find anyone that would do cupping on me without being afraid to leave a mark on my back.
I guess apparently people here in Texas are afraid and dislike the purple marks left with cupping, even though they go away in a few days. I’m am not one of those people and asked for extra suction on the cups because I know the results after it is done, and let me tell you… its amazing. Cupping and acupuncture combined is what does the trick for me. Not the cupping where they move two cups around on your back, and only leave it on for a few seconds, I’m talking about the cupping where they place several cups all over you with strong suction for like 10 to 20 minutes.
I’ve had gua sha, and the cupping done I described above that is moved around and not left to sit, and I did not get the same results.
I left Dr. Chen’s office already feeling a huge relief of the pain I have in my neck and shoulders.
She is my new Acupuncturist.
I highly recommend her no matter if you are close to her or not. I live in Dallas and drove to Las Colinas to give her a try and I am so glad that I did.

PS. The office is nice, the beds are super comfortable, the room is relaxing with soft music playing and she comes in to check on you to make sure you are comfortable.
