I have been with Dr. Hoffman for 20 years and he has been nothing but wonderful. He delivered my son and my twin girls. He is caring, concerned for me and my children and did everything he could to make me feel comfortable, physically and emotionally, during my pregnancy. I highly recommend him.

Do not go to this office. Save yourself the trouble and inconvenience. I had an apt today and showed up 20 minutes prior, as they request you to as a new patient. I am sitting in the reception area filling out my paperwork and I start getting calls from them. So I walk up to the desk to find out what is going on, and they tell me that the DR now has to reschedule because of «emergency surgery». I asked if I could see another dr because I was already there, had already driven to the office, and had taken off work. So they say«sure the dr will see you before he leaves.» GREAT! So I get into the room and the nurse goes thru all her questions and then comes back and says«we need to reschedule. the DR has an emergency with his wife». I again ask if I can see another dr since at this point I am undressed and in the exam room. I am told very coldly that this is not an option, to get redressed and reschedule. So on my way out I ask the reception desk why I was not able to see another dr and tell them this is very inconvenient and frustrating as I just wasted 30 minutes of my day and I am missing work. I am told«it happens. babies show up when they want. We don’t burden the other drs with patients that aren’t theirs if one dr leaves. Not how our practice works.». No apologies. No concern. Nothing. Clearly this office and this DR have ZERO respect or concern for their patients or their patients time. They don’t even have enough respect and cant even show enough courtesy to give an honest answer as to why you are in the office, undressed, and can not be seen. I got three different answers to why so I can BS on the whole thing. I understand babies show up when they want and emergencies happen, but showing some concern to your scheduled patient and trying to work them in at the practice is the professional thing to do. In my 25 years of seeing OB/GYN I have NEVER once been treated this way or not been seen upon showing up to my apt. I have ALWAYS been worked in with another DR in the practice if my dr was called away on baby or personal emergency. The lack of compassion, respect, and compassion is my problem. This event actually did me a favor because I don’t want to be a patient of any DR who doesn’t value or care about his patients. I can now find another DR that will.

Do not go to Dr Hoffman whatever you do. When I went to him he never showed a real interest in my pregnancy. He was always so quick when we spoke and he always seemed in a big hurry. When my boyfriend came with me, he always seemed irritated that he was in the room and never listened When he spoke. I was never given any paper results from any tests I had done, I always had to ask several times. He never took anything I said seriously, when I expressed my worries to him he shook them off and said every pregnant woman experiences discomfort. I ended up going to the hospital to be taken care of seriously. I’m induced at 39 weeks 1 day. I hardly remember my delivery because I was drugged so hard. He delivered my son and drugged us so hard that he was too unconscious to eat. He didn’t even have the sucking reflex. He lost a pound in less than 24 hours and a nurse checked his blood sugar and it was severly low. He had to have emergency formula and since he was so out of it from the amount of drugs Dr h gave me, he couldn’t even get circumcised at the hospital. After the baby was out so was the doctor. He was out the door as quick as the baby was out of me. He never talked to me about birth control options and now a year later I’m pregnant again, which I’m happy about. Although I’m going to a different doctor and Im having a much better experience.
