Fred is great!!! I come in town for a wedding needed pants taken In. Not only did he do a great job but the price was great too!!!

Being 5’0″, I *live* at the tailors. As an uptown resident, I made Unique Tailor (Mockingbird) my go-​to tailor… until I discovered Fred’s. Not only is their work better qualify, but you don’t have the ridiculous line of Unique… and bonus: they’re more competitively priced than Unique!!!
Don’t be deceived by the exterior/​interior — trust me: they DELIVER.

I had my hemming and a vest stitched up. I was in and out within 20 minutes. Why wait around when you can have Fred Instead:) found my new tailor thanks Señor Fred!

Fred is a lifesaver! I had not one but two emergency (read: needed it the same day) alterations. Not only did he do the work brilliantly, but it was done in about 4 hours, and it was so reasonably priced! Made a loyal customer out of me. I’ll be back for more!

Fred just saved my day… tore a seam in my suit pants getting off the plane late last night and have 3 days of meetings and only two suits with me. Fred literally fixed them while I waited and the price was great. Highly recommended!

My husband purchased a pair of coveralls at Wal-​Mart (I know, I know) and not more than a month later the zipper split. We hated to return them because we already knew there was no chance of getting an exchange since they were sold out. But, my husband works outdoors and really needed this type of outerwear.
We had seen the sign for Fred the Tailor on several occasions (we live practically around the corner) and decided to talk to Fred to see if these faulty Wal-​Mart coveralls could be salvaged.
Fred’s is a small, Mom & Pop type place for sure. Fred is a darling and tried several ways to repair the zipper… but to no avail. Now, he could have easily said we absolutely needed to completely replace the zipper and charged us accordingly (usually this costs $ 30 or more at most tailor shops). But, nope, Fred asked us to give him a little while to work on it. We received a courteous phone call from Fred and, when we went back to his shop, saw that he had worked on the zipper and replaced one small portion of it… and, he only charged us 10 bucks!
I would definitely recommend Fred the Tailor for courteous, prompt and affordable tailoring needs! Thanks Fred!
