Got a «in-​home dinner for two» deal on Livingsocial. The company website’s looks great and possibly a good choice in the future for anniversary. However, it was very disappointing. 3 course dinner from salad to dessert — nothing was homemade. Salad was simply lettece and tomatoes with Kroger brand salad dressing. Entrée was meatball spaghetti. Meatballs were perfectly round, even size and texture, just like those in frozen section in the store. Tomato sauce is not much different from Prego. Dessert was good. I wonder where they bought it. At this point I wasn’t a big believer of a homemade brownie on my plate. I understand business tends to cut back on their cost because Livinsocial deal is half off from original price, but it is definately a big no no. I would not go back to them because of their business attitude. It is rude in some way.

Don’t even think of buying any of the «special deals» this place advertises. Once you try to use it, the whole story changes. You will not get the promised menu, nor the selections promised. You will be forced into a «set menu» that is not even close to the value or the advertised menu that you purchased. You will then only have the option of getting your money back as credit to go buy something else, but never get a refund. It’s a less than slick, amateur attempt to try to up sell you. Don’t count on any response from them, as they will not e-​mail you back or respond to inquiries.
